  1. I like the idea of the re-groover. You do it once on old tires, then when it goes away again, you buy new tires. anymore than once and you're cruisin' for a bruisin'. Either way, you're getting twice the longevity.

  2. My uncle had a used tire shop and i remember the retreading of passenger tires back in the day, after that brush em with kerosene mixed with black oil based paint and the tires would be like new🤣

  3. Yooo that's cool. Saw a kickstarter for a window mounted solar powered AC box…ya know for when you dont have (or Want) a Tesla. It's just the new version of that swamp cooler, that's just so cool! Love to see it!

  4. the tire threaders were often used for racing.. the teams would get the new slick tires to the tracks and there would be a dude that his job was to put threads on them…with guides and and stuff
but one day, , the Ferrari team did not have that guy around .. he was late or something like that and they decided to try the car
without the threads on the tires and the driver said it was way better…hence, the reason racing stopped putting threads
    on racing tires..
except for that dumb and stupid era where there were grooves on formula 1 tires.. .

  5. Regrooving tires is still common practice on medium and heavy duty tires. That’s why some of those tires will even say “regroovable”. It used to be that tires had a lot more rubber between the treads and the ply. That style groover isn’t so common anymore though lol.

  6. i feel like that oven was done dirty; you chose something that you have to cook carefully and would stink up the car regardless

it's almost like you weren't testing it seriously

  7. Look, I'm not claiming all vintage Products would work in today's modern era. But I think with a combination of vintage and today's modern technology and this particular statement particularly applied too custom vintage vehicles. 😯

  8. My grandpa mentioned the spark plug tire pump to me a number of times. Very interesting to see one in action. I always assumed that it did pump fuel into the tire, and that you'd use it in an emergency and then replace the air in the tire ASAP.
