Here’s a tip when you remove spark plugs on a boxer engine. Put the spark plug socket in first then 2 2inch extension then your ratchet. Assemble and dissemble inside the engine bay. Life is good

As anyone who has worked on a Subaru will tell u, it's faster to take the engine out to do the spark plugs, than to do it while it's in the bay
