  1. Sam Lurie’s friends always giving him “unwrapped Mexican Mars Bars”. Sam Lurie loves eating dog turds, but only if his friends give them to him. I love that I now know who Sam Lurie is. Sam Lurie is easily the dumbest guy ever featured on VinWiki.

  2. Another lesson on why you should ALWAYS set your Parking Brake.
It is not just an Emergency Brake, its a backup to keep the wheels locked when you are not in the car. Essential in a Manual Car, common sense in any vehicle.

  3. Dislike due to wearing a PETA shirt while holding an American flag, I would suggest either the Chinese Communist flag or the old Russian hammer and sickle, don't hide what you are.

  4. Was this supposed to be funny stories? Ironic? Just not up the normal story telling found on this channel. Didn’t find this at all interesting.

  5. Hahaha a 'drive of shame' across town. Makes me remember my first car, when my cat and the rest of my exhaust decided to part ways (on a straight road without bumps, so this wasn't my fault) and I had to drive a couple of blocks to the nearest garage with the exhaust tied to the car with rope. I didn't dare go above 3000rpm, damn that thing screamed😂 Definitely got me some attention

  6. The MB part of the story is just proof of why winter tires should be installed in winter season. Doesn’t matter if the forecast is good or not. Summer tires do not behave well in cold weather and you can never be over prepared for a situation.

  7. Been there, done that with the door, but it was while push starting my 87 Mustang. I forgot about the old basketball goal pole by the friend's driveway! 😂 Luckily I was able to close the door and drive it until I got a replacement.

  8. I’m still baffled at how people manage for forget to put their car in park/neutral, one of the last things you do when getting out of a car is releasing the brake, if it’s still in gear, it will move as soon as you let go of the brake, in most cases fast enough to not even let you safely get out without falling over, or getting hit with the door if it was left in reverse.

  9. Had a Altima (yes, this is a Altima doing Altima things) that after having it’s transmission replaced (big surprise) had a gear shift indicator issue. Had the car towed back to the repairing dealer where it was unloaded off the tow truck, “parked” on the service drive but…it was not in park…. It proceeded to drive itself backwards, sideswiping the tow truck, peeling open the drivers door skin with the tow truck tire cradle. Continue to roll out of the service drive bay down a slight incline, into a parked truck where it bounced off and came to a stop after it hit the side of the building. In hindsight I think the Altima was just trying to end its misery and was taking matters into It’s own hands.

  10. i was about 7 years old when my dad built a car hauler trailer way over built very beefy… parked it on a hill and it rolled about 1/3rd of a mile taking out fences mail boxes etc… lucky he didnt kill someone

  11. Any chance you all could get Peter Egan (the writer for Road & Track and Cycleworld)? That is someone who can tell a story, and likely has a million of them.

  12. My family had a situation similar to your first story in a podunk town west of Fort Worth TX, only the target was the plate glass window of a diner. You should have seen the guy in the booth's eyes when my Dad's 1966 Bonneville hit the power pole right in front of him.

  13. 2 of the worst stories I have ever heard on Vin wiki. My F750 box truck slid backwards down a hill during a blitz snowstorm while I was out looking at snow/salt/shovel options. Ran down the hill and managed to get in and lay on the brakes which eventually grabbed before crashing at the bottom. My heart was going crazy but I thought it was a good story. Compared to this guy it is a great story lol.
