0:05 Not sure how fast they apparently hit a curb and wall at Starbucks but it did quite a damage of damage. Also damaged the front subframe and suspension on the driver’s side (right-hand drive).
0:13 The spare tire on this van is between the front seats and passenger seats (behind the front ones). So It has a low point right there as the spare tire sits in that spot. Either way, they did quite a bit of damage to the floorboard as it’s ripped completely off.
0:25 The customer said they got no clue how this got stuck underneath their vehicle.
0:38 Looks to be raw chickens in the back of this RAV4.
0:44 Since the A/C evaporator core was plugged, water built up in the hose (since it couldn’t drain) which soaked the carpet and inside of the car. Anytime you see water leaking from underneath your car when the A/C is on, it’s from this hose. So somebody maybe did this on purpose as a prank/revenge or somebody did it accidentally.
0:55 “He forgot to mention that all this started DIRECTLY after doing a full send with a Dewalt and self-tappers securing his under shields. Managed to short the rear sjb power wire to everything and not burn the car to the ground. Neat .”
1:09 No extra info.
1:19 The customer had cut the underside of the torsion bar a bit (not sure why) but can’t see it in the photo. I asked the technician to get more photos but he said the customer declined repairs and picked up his vehicle right away.
1:32 No extra info.
1:44 The customer installed a cheap test tune he got online, which the manufacturer believes caused the failure on Cylinder 4 and that’s why they declined the warranty. The customer had to pay $60,000 for a new engine installed (high-performance engine, not cheap).
1:55 They didn’t mention what car this was on (as the photo was taken a while ago) but this should definitely be a recall if it’s not already! They are lucky the car didn’t go up in flames.
2:07 No extra info.
2:14 Steering shaft was hitting the floor mat causing the “clunking” noise that the customer heard for 1 month.
2:22 Looks like some pests (rats, mice or squirrels) were making a home underneath the hood of this SUV.
2:30 Driveshaft is bent from most likely driving over something. A gas tank strap also broke off and a rear shock was damaged from impact.
2:39 The most claymores I think we’ve seen on any vehicle thus far!
2:54 A bunch of cockroaches in this customer’s car.
3:02 It’s a Backdraft Racing Roadster.
It has a Roush 427 Clevor engine (351 Windsor block bored and stroked to 427 with 351 Clevland cylinder heads) with a TKO600 5-speed transmission. It’s finished in Indigo blue with pearl white stripes.”
3:12 Outro. Thanks for watching!

  1. Ot never cease to amaze me how people treat their cars.
The car with the two child seats is beyond dirty, the F150 is just crazy, and the roach infested Kia makes me cringe, image where these people live!

  2. Looking at the floor gone or part of the fence in the underchassis reminds me when we had a guy ones that hit partly open man hole. The cover sliced his gas tank – from nearly full to empty in a few seconds.

  3. I've seen my share critters and vehicles over the years but holy crap I've never seen a situation we have to tell a customer there roaches are attacking the technician and were afraid best in our shop to get this piece of shit out of here… I did get snapped by mousetrap one time I never worked on that vehicle again I do a lot of wire repair due to road ends and various critters but I take it very personal when you going to let your technician stick their hands up underneath the dashboard and seats of your vehicle Knowing damn well you have live mouse traps in thos places…

  4. #6 This is why on the rare occasions that must use self tappers to hold up a heat shield or undertray, I only put them in places where they won't go through the floor pan.
#10 This should not have happened. Seat heaters have temp sensors so they don't get too hot AND they typically deactivate when the car is turned off and won't turn back on unless a button is pressed.

  5. Imagine that your coworker, friend, lover, acquaintance, etc could be the owner of that roach car and you might never know it.
Excuse me , I suddenly have the urge to shower.

  6. I guarantee that first car was a "I confused the brake and gas" situation. I don't understand how one doesn't automatically lose their license when they do that. Canadians here will get this: every shoppers in my area has had its plate glass replaced at least three times a year because of seniors driving right through

  7. What is it with people and ornaments in their car? I mean for me putting anything on it is too much but filling every inch of space with stuff is insane!

  8. Near where I live there is a Dairy Queen that has a solid Concrete Wall right where the curb should be for the drive through. It's low key terrifying coupled with a kinda tight turn to get through the drive through. And even I don't know how number 1 happened.

  9. I've been working at a body shop for a bit now and extra tips I learned was if you're painting the door, it's better to take off the mirror and belt molding (the trim at the bottom of the window) for a better paint job in the end. The mirror can get in the way, and if you're unlucky, the clear coat could stick in that gap between the door and the belt molding.
