In many ways a lot of items in the 1980s felt like they were from the future. This decade made us wonder what futuristic items would be coming out next.

  1. I had the pac man watch, the caseo digital watch with the robot voice, and the Walkman. Unfortunately I didn't get a Nintendo until Super Nintendo came out. That pen with a clock is pretty cool. They should bring those back.

  2. I remember those cheap straw baskets ๐Ÿงบ of soap. I got a bunch of them every Xmas for like 3-4 consecutive years. They were like a cheap stocking stuffer

  3. Remember the portable 'Walkman' CD player? You could plug it into your car tape cassete player via an actual tape cassette with wires sticking out of it to plug into your cd player that usually sat in the passenger seat flopping around. Now you can play cd's on your car tape casstte player, as long as you didnt mind it skipping everytime you hit a bump in the road.๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  4. I miss this era and yes many of the 80's items felt futuristic I think it was because the 80's just had that feel of wow and people were making things that we thought were funky and awesome as kids or young adults but id have to say I wish that era was now because things were just better. Thank you for taking me back in time with this.
