I agree that respect is important, but your argument is then that people on the left need to have respect for conservatives who, in this case, don’t respect gay and trans people. Tom Morello can argue that his friendship with Ted Nugent is about respect, but it emboldens the racist and xenophobic views that Ted Nugent expresses that disrespect countless scores of people (the dude defended the apartheid saying Black people aren’t equal to White people). This idea that we have to respect conservatives but they don’t have to respect anyone else is a morally and intellectually disingenuous argument.

I think there is a perception that all band members are “friends” and “brothers” and while that may be true sometimes, I would argue how many band makeups are more like co-workers. How many worksites and co-workers have shared space, time and tasks but very different divergent views from each other.
Having said that i often these days think of the saying from when i was growing up that my parents said (never talk about money, politics or religion and mostly everyone gets along just fine).

I think the people that you’re constantly whining about woke ism or cringe, but they have the right to do it. There’s no point in firing them over something you disagree with.
If Architects are "woke" as a rock band, then I will never again purchase anything they produce. I would recommend that any self-respecting normal person do exactly the same. Go woke, go broke!!!!
People are allowed to have their opinions.
The woke left is a toxic garbage fire that has, in a less than half a decade, ruined decades of hard work from left leaning activists and that blows.

Dana White UFC is a firm believer in freedom of speech. It's not about allowing them to say their opinions because it's the environment and Strickland is a "crazy" guy. The fighters can say their opinions because they are grown ass men with freedom of speech. Let's not spin this into what it's not.

This is THE problem with mainstream news and big tech.
They've weaponised politics to a point where everyday people are fighting if not killing each other over political differences. There is no such thing as as "agree to disagree" anymore it's now "pick my side or you're the enemy!".
Tha is what causes civil conflict and eventually civil war if things don't change.
I'm a more right leaning guy and I love architects even tho they are kind of left leaning. I don't really care about their political take, I just think doomsday is a great song. Let's all put down our stupid political defenses and live a little.

the reporter asked about stricklands lgbtq thoughts base don what he said a year ago. Pre fight presser while cutting weight isnt the place to ask important questions. Aswell as that, people shouldnt take life advice from people who smash others in the head in a cage…… Everyone has opinions, the world wont bend to what you like or dont like. Dont expect the world to agree with you. strickland can believe what he wants, means nothing in the world……. Same as my opinion. So every word i type has been a waste of time 😉
