24. I'd like to note that Christian extremism is far more widespread in the US since when I grew up in the 80's-00's. Back then, Christians were certainly harmful to social and scientific progress, but they weren't so bizarrely married to far-right politics, so socially toxic, and so misinformed as they are today. Far-right Christian nationalism, and other forms of Christian extremism, are spreading like a virus through small churches all across the country, certainly in some areas more than others… The people who go to these churches are being brainwashed to join a politically-driven, stereotypical death-cult.

    Wild conspiracies have become so intertwined with religion that it's frightening… but it sort of makes sense in a way; people who can wholeheartedly believe that the bible is the literal word of god, and that the earth is only 6000 years old, and that dinosaurs lived with humans… well… those people can be convinced to believe just about anything. I've also noticed that a lot of these people don't even pick and choose which conspiracies to believe anymore, they just believe every single one they hear… LoL

Like you die and become worm food which then becomes soil for other things to grow and live.
