I worked in a raw vegan restaurant for YEARS so let me set the record straight on this fringe issue. "Vegan" EXCLUDES non-consensual animal products. Breastmilk is vegan if you have permission. Cannibalism would only be vegan if the deceased had given permission before their death. Cannibalism is not illegal in the US because of uncommon situations like the Donner party or other survival situations. There is a breastmilk ice cream shop in Europe. The bodies exhibit is not vegan. The tattoo museum where they frame human skin is vegan because the subjects have given permission. So yeah. Vegan = consensual. Animals cannot give consent, so animal products are not vegan.
