For the past 20 years, self-taught animal trainer, Samantha Martin, trained pets in her home to perform tricks and amazing feats. Now armed with high hopes, a dream, and a full cast of high maintenance “Acro-Cats”, Samantha trades her day job for the open road and sets off on tour with America’s first traveling cat circus. With a broken down RV brimming with kitty litter, sparkling sets, and dozens of cats trained to dazzle, Martin visits cities small and large, to build circus buzz, in hopes of achieving stardom.
As mounting debt, the instability of the road, and a moody troupe of circus cats threaten to capsize her, Samantha must fight for the life she always dreamed of. Reaching for circus stardom in a viral video world, the stakes are high in this exploration of the American dream, human-animal relationships, internet fame, cult status, and the cost of following one’s dreams. Filmed over 5+ years, Samantha’s Amazing Acrocats chronicles one woman’s quest to make it to the top on her own terms, or at least survive- asking if it’s ever too late to start over.

We saw her show in Denver. It was awesome. So much fun!
You gotta admire her tenacity!!! And her resourcefulness!
Amazing woman ❤️
I was always a dog lover in every way, never owned a cat. But my wife saw to getting a kitten, oh how she changed my outlook! What a beautiful soul this cat is💚
Forcing animals to perform pointless tricks is abuse 👎
YOUR A ICON LADY
“Everyday I wake up, my back hurts” GIRL SAME
I wish Samantha, and all her family of cats, all the success she could wish for and more ! She has tried for so long she deserves more recognition than she is getting ! She definitely needs to put herself and cat family out there more. I'd definitely subscribe to her youtube channel.
♥️ ✌️ 🇨🇦
Don't like it, don't watch it… Animal Circus = Animal Exploitation 👎
I saw them live once. Someone I knew from fostering cats from the cat adoption I fostered for bought me a ticket for my birthday. It was great ❤
Her tenacity is inspiring.
Stephen Colbert is a number 0. Ratings down the crapper.
This is soo cool. I'm a cat lady
Seems to me like Samantha is right on schedule; compelled to train animals her whole life and finally arriving after (several) years of purrfecting her unique craft and dream! Not many people are capable of that.
I cannot believe how much I identify with the "Cat Lady". Especially how she handles relationships. Her way of thinking is exactly like mine, or vice versa. I have a few cats of my own and I LOVE ALL my BABIES, my kitties.
Ironically, I'm single too. Go figure. Lol
Someone needs to make a movie about this woman! I would 100 percent watch. She seems like actually a very interesting person:
Not sure about that many cats.. I like cats.. this is a bit ridiculous for me..
Thanks!
I remember seing the animal planet show on rock cats 😍🥰😍🥰 it was a long time ago😄😇
This turned out to be a much deeper story.
You could partner with local animal shelters to help bring awareness by putting on shows at them and donating part of your proceeds (if I had advanced notice in a newspaper I would buy a ticket to that faster than I would buy a ticket to the circus which I don’t attend anymore)
Remember that movie about those kids who hid all those stray dogs in a building and then they used them for something good and there was a happy ending anyway it was a dog rescue after all……
Well someone should write a screenplay for a cat movie and you can be the head trainer and be in charge of all the cats.
And I bet you could also travel with local fairs like the Columbia County fair here in Florida in Lake City & I was just thinking you would be someone people would love to watch ❤
I use to watch this woman with cats and she had a cat area where she made a train and they rode the train….yeah you should have like an aristo cat village
