0:00 Intro
0:05 Chevrolet Suburban. The customer will need a new spindle, hub assembly, cv axle, ball joints, outer tie rod end, brake hose, and brakes as the fire damaged them.
0:20 This kind of metal stake is often used for construction or concrete work, so it must have fallen off a truck and the customer over it. Luckily nobody was hurt!
0:31 When the tire blew out it took out the back window as well as shown, also some wiring to the tail light.
0:41 You should never have 2 spacers on top of each other as a lift kit, let alone 3! Very dangerous and should be replaced with one single bigger spacer or just added leaf springs.
0:54 The technician said this was most likely caused by the customer not using the correct socket to install the spark plugs (most likely used a chrome socket), which sometimes prevents you from tightening the spark plug all the way.
1:04 Intercooler pipe is smashed up and the same with the exhaust pipe. The customer most likely ran over something and is now trying to blame the shop. Aftermarket exhaust was also rubbing against the fuel tank.
1:23 Fake plastic turbo. The mechanics had a good laugh when they say this on a customer’s vehicle.
1:31 Ford E-350. The technician replaced the fuel rail. He also mentioned he’s never seen such a small pinhole like this on a fuel rail or any kind of fuel leak this small before.
1:40 The shop said: “It was originally a Rough Country 6” lift kit. Someone told the customer they could make it a 10” lift with some modifications and to trust them, they know what they are doing. As we can see they had no clue and turned it into a death trap.
We currently are working with the customer and have him quoted on a Cognito 10” lift to make this safe and reliable rig.”
1:54 Technician drained out transmission fluid and cleaned washer fluid reservoir. He’s unsure why the customer kept adding transmission fluid to it.
2:02 Customer will need a whole new lower control arm assembly and was advised to stop driving on a bald spare tire as well.
2:13 The mechanic was unsure why they just wouldn’t replace the battery instead of doing this. I believe the battery is in the wheel well on this model so it’s a pain to change but would be a lot safer to drive around in.
2:25 Battery cable was replaced.
2:35 The mechanic said he had no clue why the tires had the brand name ground off. Also, the inside of the tires had the name ground off.
2:46 Vehicle needed new lower control arms, brake caliper, new rotors, pads, and a p/s leak replaced. No mention of anything besides the p/s leak.
3:00 1970 Dodge Challenger A66 340
3:09 Outro. Thanks for watching!

  1. I'm glad we have thorough annual checks on our cars here in Sweden.
What is actually checked on the inspection of cars in the USA?
Do some states have more thorough checks?
Thought of states called the rust belt.

  2. I’m not gonna lie to y’all I a mechanic once filled the washer fluid with transmission oil too I siphoned it out before I gave it back to customer 😂

  3. Some people’s kids… some people don’t need to own a vehicle, should be forced to walk, ride a bicycle, or take an Uber, people like these morons make the highways very dangerous.

Need to start making people take some type of exam/test on normal vehicle maintenance before they are allowed to drive.

  4. "He accidentally filled his washer fluid reservoir with transmission fluid" Atleast he realized his mistake granted after he had done it.

  5. Whenever I see the wheel bearing ones, it always reminds me when our 1932 Ford sedan hot rod, wheel bearing seized up and broke the axel, and dad pulled over and jacked the car up to push the tire back in and mom and I had to push the side of the car so it wouldn't fall off the jack. Then waiting for the flatbed tow truck to come.

  6. 2:35 I wonder if those tires were recalled, but the shop who had them didn't want to go through with either returning them to the manufacturer or disposing of them, so they sanded off all markings so that they can move them without anyone knowing.

Of course, if a shop was caught doing this, then they could face major legal trouble.
