Nixon was a lying narcissist and was fully capable of having some military guys put some rubber aliens in a jar to try and impress and even get into Gleason's inner circle.
You could have done a better job of showing the art so that it can be seen clearly rather than concentrating on your own faces. Adding the drawings/paintings somewhere in the corner does not give us a clear picture. You even ignored Fox's suggestion to zoom in on the material. Why? Big fuck-up.
I feel that's why guys like Bigalow a billionaire will continuing to hide the truth?
Wonderful depiction of what happened in that not so far 1996 when I was a teenager and followed the case so closely. A few years later I had the chance to go by to Varginha and the encounter site neighborhoods. All was true. And there's something that James is not able to showcase due to the culture and language distance from Brazil: all those people involved, all the witnesses were low class simple people. with limited skills, poor language and culture. I don't think they could (or would intend to) make up with that whole story and achieve a so perfect ambience, involving military trucks in the streets, medical crew in hospitals, all the fuzz in a small countryside Brazilian town…
It has to be true to make sense, cause many people witnessed and acknowledged that something strange happened there those days. Thank you for bringing that to the world

"I know what I saw" and " Out of the Blue" are the 2 best UFO movies ever made, pre-"Unacknowledged." All documentaries should be modeled after them. I didn't know James Fox did them. No wonder I liked them so much.

In discussions of why the government won't disclose the existence of UFOs, I think it's important to consider the politics of the situation. Because it isn't just that they fear a panic. A major priority of every top-down government is to acquire as much power as possible. To that end, governments are constantly trying to gain a technological edge over each other. America in particular is deeply invested in protecting its military superiority. If these craft are real, which seems more and more likely, than whoever can reverse engineer one first will have complete tactical dominance over every other country on the planet. So I don't think they will willingly admit to anything unless and until they figure out how to harness the technology for themselves and are able to prevent others from doing so – just as they've done with nuclear weapons.

There's no doubt in my mind that when I was about 9 years old (1995), I saw a UFO. Just a small elementary school in a small town. I was at school playing at recess waiting for someone to jump rope with. I was facing the school and randomly looked up and to the left. My eyes locked onto this craft that was stationary in the sky above the tree line about 250-300ft away. I stared at it for about 15 seconds, just trying to grasp what I was seeing. It was a metallic saucer shape with a bump on the bottom that had colored lights. I called over to my friends, "guys, come see this!", and when I looked back it was gone.
What Bigelow said the impact would be is bullshit. It's purely the worst case scenario from an older white pov.
The world is already controlled by people most of us can't relate to. Who act in their own interest from the gov to the power company to Musk, gates, beezos…. How would this be different?
