My dad is 67 and just moved into his dream retirement home a year ago and he’s still hunting for another property to rent out, wtf are you on about. Also no 65 year old wants to be in a damn apartment. They want land and freedom and cash filled mattresses and guns buried all over the property.

Unless they are living with family. My grandmother in law is 110. Still lives with family. It should be enjoymwnt of family and passing on traditions weslth. That was the better way. Single seniors living alone in houses they cannot keep up i can see your point but wait until you are 65, you would not like to leave your beloved home you were married in raised children you want to remain in the neighborhood you know and stay around what you know.
