5. That is a silly comparison. Usain Bolt hitting a kids while running won’t destroy the kids. At 17 mph a 3000 lbs car will. I didn’t mess around either. I remember doing the math for stopping distance when I was getting trained. If you were to take a car going 25 miles per hour and the same car going 30 miles per hour. in the same distance it would take you to reach zero going 25 miles per hour you’d still be going 18 mph if you were going 30. Even small amounts can be much more than you think.

11. 10mph could be argued to be unlawful in court as most vehicles would have a very hard time maintaining such a low speed without just creeping along at 4-5 mph, which would also be a ticketable offense of too slow for conditions. You better believe my petty ass would be rolling through there on creep only if I got such an unreasonable ticket. Most cruise control systems can’t even engage until 15mph
