Town bizzzzz aye Oakland stand up. For real tho eco is dope and right by an incredible trio of smoke shops.
Well I liked the channel until I start hearing Marxist buzz words. Fuck can’t anything today go without some woke bs
As someone who did a 3 year Federal stint (over 8 years total under their thumb) for cultivation back in the Nancy "Just say 'No'" days, I can speak to the value of kind people stepping up and given me the chance to get my feet back under me post release. His "It's the right thing to do" statement rings true. One of the most rewarding things I have done in my businesses since has been to return that kindness to other deserving candidates.
As a successful business owner, I also totally related to some of his stated frustrations with the current state of 'social equity' programs. It's knowledge and training (before money) that worthy candidates need.
And the "What ever you think it will cost .. double it." Nailed it!
Thanks Nick and Kevin. Great interview.
This doesn’t sound like equity. So the government trusts some rich guy to own the license and employ black and brown people? Equity is allowing those targeted to be the owners of the license.
Looking awesome subscribed
A white CEO of a cannabis conglomerate getting subsidies for hiring ex cons for low level jobs is not social equity, it's just marketing. Cannabis is big money only at this point and modest income individuals have no chance of opening a cannabis business. For instance, the "social equity" program for dispensaries starting in Arizona has a $25k non-refundable application fee for a lottery with maybe a 1% chance of winning the lottery. Only corporations or very rich people are willing to throw away $25k for a 1% chance…

How about we are created equal. If you have some guilt? let that shit be on your own head. WOKE is a JOKE.
Corporate virtue signaling is toxic.
Not in Illinois.
Corporate virtue signaling is toxic.
I want a license after multiple felonies, not to be someone’s employee. Equity= being able to start with one light and build up your own thing with no investors.
Who is stopping people of color from getting into the industry??? Is it the same for the vertical integrated system in Florida that allows no one in unless you have tons of money? Last I checked, it blocks everyone out not just people of color.
Glad to see something like this. Proper.
Oh great social justice Marxism infiltrating the Cannabis industry fantastic
Nice video
