2. BMW hoped to sell 400,000 of the larger 600 model but only 35,000 were sold , so putting BMW further into the red.
   The next model with convetional appearance , the 700, was the car that saved them.

   To quote Wikipedia on the more successful 700 developed by BMW and not Isetta :
   The BMW 700 is a small rear-engined car which was produced by BMW in various models from August 1959 to November 1965. It was the first BMW automobile with a monocoque structure. The 700 was a sales success at a time when BMW was close to financial ruin.[5] The 700 was also successful in its class in motorsport, both in its stock form and as the basis of a racing special called the 700RS.

5. It is not an Isetta, it is a BMW 600. They paid no license fee to ISO for making this car – but they did pay for making the Isetta 300. The two cars share no parts in common, even the front door is not exactly the same. (I own a 600.)

    Its a BMW 600 with a 2-cylinder boxer in the back. It has 4 seats and came after the success of the 2 seater Isetta. That has a 1-cylinder 250cc engine in the middle and is s really small car.

20. My dad learned to drive in one of these, it was the family car and he and his siblings practiced driving it on backroads. A few years later it broke somehow and they were glad a scrapyard still paid them like 50 ish D-Mark for it

22. I still have fond memories sitting in an even smaller version with a 300cc engine with only 13 hp, I was in the BMW World in Munich and they actually let people sit in it and drive it for a few meters.

24. Hey my dad has the smaller version of that which is the BMW Isetta 300, (that is the 600 which has more seats) but its the 4-wheeler with really close back wheels.

30. I love this izzeta 600 something i would drive and it smaller models as well. Kinda want one myself but ya that a dream. That being said it nice to see you guys haveing fun some of the other videos i felt like thir was no emotion in or you seemed bord so nice to see the chnge. It really dose make a difference. Cant waite to see what else comes.
