11. I’d rather get a paper cut every single time. The pain lasts only a second and it’s healed by evening. I’ve stubbed my toe so hard it hurt for days

12. My issue with the stubbed toe argument is that if it's so bad that you have a broken bone, it's no longer just a stubbed toe in my view, it's a completely separate injury at that point. I don't think anyone would argue a paper cut is worse than a broken toe, but to me that's not really a fair competition. It would be like if a cut was severe enough that it needed stitches, it's no longer just a paper cut. For the spirit of the debate, the definition of stubbed toe should have been limited to instances that don't require a doctor's intervention.

13. I accidentally dropped a pallet of boxed bananas (extremely heavy) on top of my little toe. Idk if I broke it but it was the worst pain for a whole month. I associate that with stubbed toe. 😖

18. My finger got stuck in the car door before cut off top of a finger had to get stitches.

19. Paper cut is bad because it's gross and you can feel your skin rubbing back in forth. Doesn't hurt. But it's kinda nasty, being sliced open. And you can see and feel it's grossness.
    Stubbed toe hurts like a mofo for about 10 seconds, and then fades off over a few minutes. It hurts so much it makes me viscerally angry.

    For sure I'd rather… a paper cut. It's like getting a needle, once it happens it's not so bad. Stubbed toe is worse than you remember! Plus once you put a tight band aid on a paper cut, the pressure gets rid of the pain, for me at least they don't hurt at all.
