I look at the strange history of pop-punk’s biggest band Blink-182, including:
* How Mark Hoppus and Tom Delonge met, Scott Raynor, early Blink-182 demos and “Buddha”
* Signing to Cargo, releasing “Buddha” and “Cheshire Cat”
* The start of fame with “Dude Ranch” and “Dammit”
* Travis Barker joining and Blink-182’s rise to fame with “Enema Of The State” (“All The Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again”)
* Side projects like Boxcar Racer, +44, Angels & Airwaves and Transplants
* Tom Delonge’s departure from Blink-182, their breakup and reunion
* Matt Skiba’s arrival, “California,” “Nine” and their influence on pop-punk

  1. Cheshire Cat is 1, Dude Ranch 2 and Enema 3 on my list. The SONG Cheshire Cat is still my favorite Blink song ever. I'm 41 and saw them live for the first time at 15 years old. Time flies!!! Thx for the video! I liked and subscribed

  2. There self titled album was my jam back in the day. Came out when I was in highschool and is super nostalgic for me. I just started dating an awesome girl and we vibed on that album and play it when we’re driving from time to time

  3. 16:26 I think Ghost on the Dancefloor and Even If She Falls are among the band's best songs. Great video, I really enjoyed it. Angels & Airwaves is my favorite band of all time. I hope Tom doesn't abandon AvA now that he's back with Blink.

  4. I was at Travis's first show with Blink 182!!! It was at Flippo's skating rink in Morro Bay, CA. They're first drummer left the band earlier that day, and Travis came over from the Aquabats who they were touring with. My buddies and I got there super early to stand outside and listen to warm ups, and it turned out it was Travis learning the set list for the show that night. Amazing show and experience, and I still have that ticket stub!

  5. Bro Take Off Your Pants and Jacket was almost as good as Enema of the State in my opinion. Tom’s riffs are sooo good. And blink evolved with their Untitled album, it’s different but great.

  6. I totally agree on the album Enema of the state. It was my first album I bought and never regretted. I love every song. Also Rock Show and First Date are one of the best Blink-182 songs.
