  1. i wish they atleast play 1 more time in the netherlands cuz the 2017 show was a shit storm and i already did lose money considering the 2015 show
wich was a no show for them. and no restitution.

  2. I hate to see Ivan leave the band. Retirement from metal. I will agree with that. Kudos to Ivan for taking a short break. I personally believe that Ivan is going country…… At some point. Now I also believe that "when" Ivan does go country it's going to be country music like no other ever before produced. I can see and here it now. Add some rock ora to it. It's going to be EPIC. @ivanmoody God bless you and your new ventures on your retirement and new genre of music 🎡🎢

  3. I love 5FDP. The first time I heard them was after I graduated high school in 2011, and I was with my dad driving through the desert from Las Vegas to Death Valley, CA. "Walk Away" was the first song I've heard, I was blown away with their hook and the intro instrumental. All I ever listened to was rap and hip-hop, but 5FDP changed that. Their songs "gone away," "the wrong side of heaven", and "remember everything" were so relatable and hit so hard. Thank you for everything, 5FDP, and thank you, Ivan Moody.

  4. Certainly would hate to see him leave ffdp…. However, I stand behind him wanting to be with his kids more… They grow up way too fast and that is time you can't get back. Definitely would support a country album of he tried that out.

  5. I feel like there were some hints being dropped when i listened to the album, but to se it and know it, like everyone else here makes me feel sad not for him or the band, but for myself. Ivan's one hell of an artist and performer alike, and wherever he goes musically you bet your ass I'm gonna follow him if he stays around. If not hats off to ya man I was so lucky I saw y'all in Raleigh a month ago. Really probably the best show I've seen to date. As for the fate of Death Punch, I'm holding my breath here.. I know Ivan large in part has been the glue holding everyone in the fan base together. Being a veteran fan since Way of The Fist, I don't know what to do now, because when I say this the majority of us fans can agree that nobody on this planet can fill in the role of lead singer in quite the same way when you retire man, but you did the manliest thing to do, and that's to put the ones that depend on you first. That's why I will always remember the band you helped to build and never lose an ounce of respect.

  6. Sad news, finally saw them this year but only so much time til the kiddos grow up so understandable. Nothing says he can't come back in the future, and although his wording says "from heavy metal" think he's done until the kiddos get much older, may come back then.

  7. Dude is also in recovery, maybe he wants to start taking care of himself and his family and get away from the craziness, just pluck a guitar and sing once in a while like Aaron Lewis, let him retire with respect

  8. Aweeee what! πŸ₯Ί my heart πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”but I understand completely. We all love you Ivan Moody!!! ❀️❀️❀️😭πŸ₯°πŸ˜πŸ₯°

  9. This is not the first time I have seen this happen. For background, I used to run sound and lights in the central Texas area, sometimes venturing in to Austin. Kevin Fowler joined Dangerous Toys for a short time before forming Thunder Foot. It was at this point I met him and ran sound for them a couple of times. Flash forward a couple of years and i was at Babe's on 6th Street in Austin when Kevin told his friend, Matt Clark of Freak House, that he, Kevin, had a showcase at SXSW doing county music. Kevin has gone on to have a good career in the Texas country music scene and has even had a few songs chart nationally.

  10. I think it's a good thing he will retire but you can't help but shed a tear at the fact Ivan will do one more and better done with heavy metal but it's for a good reason
