0:00 Intro
0:05 Ford Focus. Where the sub-frame mounts to the body, it’s rusted out. What you see is the sub-frame rocking back and forth making it very dangerous to drive! The technician said the customer drove it very slowly home so they can figure out what to do since they just bought the car a month ago.
0:26 The customer left the plastic on the engine air filter when he installed it. The vehicle is a Ford F-150.
0:35 2013 Toyota Sienna. The shop resealed the oil pan correctly, fixed the threads for a bolt hole, and sent the customer on his way.
0:51 Customer had vent closed on the passenger side.
1:04 Very rusty wheel on a Chevy/GM truck. Very common to see, especially for the spare tires as they don’t get used often and just rust away when stored underneath the bed of the truck.
The customer is lucky they didn’t crash on the way to the shop.
1:15 Very worn tires on a Ford Super-Duty. Look’s like the truck will need an alignment (and probably some front-end work as well).
1:25 The technician said the customer didn’t seem to be intoxicated when they came in but he was just surprised to see these empty bottles in this truck. He told his boss and he said his boss talked to the customer (didn’t mention anything else).
1:33 No extra info. This is the coolant the car requires – https://www.europaparts.com/rowe-hightec-antifreeze-an-blue-concentrate-1-gallon.html
1:44 The technician found this bell underneath the customer’s car during an inspection.
1:51 The mechanic thought this was really weird when we opened the glove box.
1:59 The technician said the cylinder wall was pretty gouged and the engine is now getting rebuilt. Didn’t mention the make/model of the vehicle. The technician is also looking down the spark plug hole and that’s where he saw the nut.
2:10 No extra info.
2:20 The technician said: “In my opinion, it seems like it’s a defect. The truck has one Upstate NY winter but has nothing similar anywhere on the truck. If you rub your finger on it the rust will actually flake off.”
2:30 2007 Subaru Legacy. The technician said it looks like the customer kept using only water in the coolant system which rusted the head gaskets like this.
2:43 No extra info. (I always change it up for the last clip).
3:01 Outro. Thanks for watching!

40 thoughts on “Customer States Car They Just Bought Has A Clunking Noise | Just Rolled In

  1. It's a gremlin bell, it has to be given to someone. It's for protection and safe travels. The ringing keeps gremlins away. More popular on motorcycles but i have seen them on cars before.

  2. After seeing what you stupid Yanks did in the Mid Terms, nothing surprises me anymore with the state of these cars & trucks. Good luck next year, you're gonna need it!

  3. the last video, its all fun and games until EPA shows up. Here is Europe you would be shut down and fined a ton of money for that. You would be paying the city to clean up the mess and all workers pay for the job because it was YOUR negligence

  4. the frame on the 2021 sierra does not surprise me , my father used to do Rust check on brand new chevrolets (the dealer would send the customer over after they bought the car) no milleage and the frames where already babdly rusted, one customer said to cancel the rust check and returned the vehicle to chevrolet, apparently they fixed the problem by sanding and painting the frame,

  5. I used to flip cars on the side years ago and the cheapest cars were the ones that the owner tried to fix & would panic sell. For example, a guy had a spotless 6-year-old '72 Pinto with all new components under the hood, new brakes & new set of Goodyear polyglas tires. He talked himself down to $40. It sputtered on the way home. Found out at home the new copper wires were crossed. A few months later bought a spotless, mint '70 Dodge Swinger with 49k miles for $300 from the original owner because they told at 50k, major problems would occur. I could not convince them otherwise.

  6. In the 70s, my dad was a mechanic at a dealership in Chicago, he had a bucket mounted on his side box to take a dump in, the bottom drawer to his tool box was a pee box, totally rusted out, jeeeez

  7. Can someone help me understand why putting washer fluid into the coolant system would cause an overheat? While not ideal, surely even washer fluid (or milk, or urine, or anything else that’s mostly water) would function just fine as a coolant, no?

I’m thinking there’s more to the story… the fact that the customer is adding anything to the cooling system tells me there must be a leak.

  8. That's why we have a technical inspection of all our vehicles in Germany every 2 years at the technical inspection association. if you do not pass the test, the vehicle may not be moved.

  9. GMC Sierra that part that you showed was only surface rust easily fixed by cleaning it all off recoding it with protectant and rubberized undercoating now that other car that that person bought that was bad

  10. Just rolled in, well I installed front calipers on my 2000 Chevy Silverado, I couldn’t get them to bleed at all, I thought it was the abs pump, I replaced everything, the master cylinder, the brake vacuum booster, kept bleeding it, then finally I took it to a shop that rents lifts, I had the front wheels off, told the technician what was going on, he took 1 look at the calipers and said I had them upside down, no wonder they wouldn’t bleed!

  11. i cant understand people that do their own work on their car then take it to a shop and say nothing about it i mean when i take my car to a shop the description of the problem usually starts with im an idiot and i need you to fix my fuc up

  12. Subframe rot on just bought car. Did they check the car or as people are now doing buy online. Online sellers sometimes put up photos of different cars claiming it's the one for sale when it's 100.000 miles less.
