Correction at @30:20 I said Microsoft when it should be Intel. Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas everyone!
I miss EVGA
AMD is a little too finicky for me, so I wish they would GPU again, maybe ARC cards?

Thanks for this great episode. I have a question: since 1991, I was selling Silicon Graphics Workstations and they were very dominant on the market for 3D Animation and Simulation, Vizualization. As Nvidia created their GeForce graphics, SGI lost its rein in 3D graphics. I was curious ti hear anything about that in this episode. Perhaps you could make an episode about Silicon Graphics as I believe there is a lot to learn about it. It changed my life completely and this area provided me with incredible experiences in the last 30 years. And it brought me to top technology, military applications, film and 3D animation, industrial design and I am enchanted in that are still. Great episode, I love how you are able to dig deeply and inform people on both sides of each company / topic you discuss, I value that highly. Best Wishes and again many thanks.
I regret not buying some AMD GPUs. I really dont want companies to exist without solid competition. Im switching on my next upgrade.
Make a video on TSMC – Zeus of all semiconductor companies
As usual, deeply researched and massively interesting! Thanks for your work, Dagogo!
I have a feeling Nvidia will be our generations enron.
Thanks Dagogo for your hard work in putting this great company summary together, very informative and enjoyable!
Interesting video. Not sure if NVDA will be the TSMC of AI or competitors will level the playing field.
Will have to wait and see.
Netflix has nVidia hardware and is still slow to load and crashes frequently?
Had a bunch of nvidia cards. They're akin to Intel: scummy practices, overpriced products. AMD and ATI were always better bang for the buck.
This video was a good roundup but it forgot the controversies of the gaming scene: they reached out to gamedevs to "help" them implement graphics by sabotaging the code for other graphics cards. Look into Crysis 2's rendering: concrete blocks with huge triangle-counts that are purposely tesselated incorrectly on ATI cards but work perfectly on nvidia.
I was an early adopter of graphics accelaration but I had a low budget so I went with a Voodoo addon card by 3dfx. I mloved it but within a few years 3dfx was dead and just about every decent card was a vga/3d hybrid made by Nvidia or ATI. I miss those days
Maybe NVIDIA can explore to enter the quantum processor space?
“Providing shovels in a gold rush” 🤌🏼
15:27 Another small correction. Samsung has also produced chips for Nvidia. Once alongside TSMC with the 10-series (Pascal) and then exclusively Samsung with the 30-series. They're back to TSMC currently though.
