Seems to me that there needs to be 1st amendment training on dispatchers NATIONWIDE. This situation could've been nipped in the Bud before even taking cops off the street to waste time and money on a call as such.

The stupidity or willful ignorance constitutional rights of these police and and other police in general is stunning but not surprising.

as crappy as it is… for the buisness, and it's patron, but according to the law there is literally nothing the police can do, besides ask him to move on, if he says no, that should ve it. of course that's never the case, but that's how the law is laid out. If these managers would just go and ask these folks why or what was going on, and politely ask then to film another way, stay where you are, but if you would mind not filming my patrons I'd greatly appreciate. Not saying you can't, but just asking as a human running a buisness… if they say no, oh well, gotta go about your day.

Police dispatchers should be held accountable for the information they relay to officers as well because sometimes they’ll pick and choose what to inform too officers and leave out key details that could alter how the officer encounters the suspect
