Top dress with cinnamon+ dried used coffee grounds will take care of pests in veg. Works for me
I have thripse in my hydro system. Cant get rid of these suckers. Waiting for the summer to go in full extinction mode during our vacation. I got the Raid plug, the sticky traps in yellow and blue, looking really mean at them, I sit there and crush them for hours a week, I got an alcohol-H2O2-soap-water-pepermint mix That they get hit with. But no chance.

Hey I have a question my buds got too dry and I bought a62%hydration packs to put in the jars to help keep the humidity decent. Was that a good idea and also should I continue to burp and how often? Thank you

If you use organics dry amendments you have to fight Gnats all the times just saying, after dry back use Neem oil to drench the media they usually disappear…

When plants are " praying", they are not looking for more light. Its a myth. The plant clawing down has nitrogen toxicity. Just sayin'.
Grow daddy is looking pumped up? Must be on roids to try and hit the ball farther off the tee
Do you count veg days from sprout? or after 2 weeks of seedling?
Have you tried diatomaceous earth for the gnats? I put a couple cups in about 50 gallons of soil and haven’t seen any. Plus it’s a good source of silica

The claw your experience I believe is excess nitrogen I’m dealing with same issue I flushed them last night and will continue to water with run offf till they come out of it then I’ll hit it with recharge I’m beginning veg/seedlings I make my own living soil and Tk hit for the seedlings

I know you have tried the BTI before with no success. Maybe it was the actual “mosquito dunk”? I use the “mosquito bits” – same composition though (BTI) so not sure.
I take 2 TBSP of the mosquito bits and put them into a small mesh planter bag then use a rubber band to just wrap the bag up (so the bits don’t come out of the bags). They are like small little 3inch planter bags I got online for like 10$ for like 300 of them or something.
Then — that planter bag I throw into my water reservoir (5 gallon bucket with constant aeration going).
So I’m letting the BTI seep into the water supply. Then when I do water I use that water.
I haven’t seen one gnat at all in 3 grows using this method.
I think maybe try the “mosquito bits” instead— maybe that will work better ?
