  1. Hello , i grow strawberries indoors, and im facing lots of troubles in dryback, i barely get any dryback max (3%) inches per day, how are u able to get 30/50% dryback?

  2. All nice and good sounding but if "water clogging" is a thing then how do plants survive DWC? KJJJJJJJJJJ, go back to the school, plant physiology doesnt bite.

  3. desperately trying to turn a very common & simple issue into a unnecessarily complicated topic.
Itโ€™s not that deep support. It is true, but donโ€™t be like this guy. He probably stares at his plant all night and gross boof packs.

  4. You should ALWAYS steer the room from the driest plant in the room. If you test plenty of plants with the sensor and make sure you're in a big one that drinks rapidly with the lowest possible moisture content you can find, you can get super rowdy with the lower dryback numbers with confidence knowing every other plant in the room is above that moisture content threshold. The plant you put your sensor in should be done with absolute intention. If anything gets weird at any point after this, the first thing I do is look for a dryer plant. If I find one, this plant becomes my new sensor plant.

  5. They all talk about how cannabis loves air in the root zone and you need constant dry backs for this. However, if you use the Autopots system or any other self watering system where the plant decides when it wants to drink and how much you will notice there are no dry backs. The plant will drink so much water so often that the entire pot stays soaked nonstop for the entire life cycle. These plants get huge and are incredibly healthy.

  6. I assume that this is not for every strain right? I ask because I have been running the spiderfarmer self watering system since the middle of my 2nd grow (I started May 2025), and proud to say my first autoflower yield was 298g with 2 plants). Anyhow, this system keeps the area below wet, you can touch the bottom part of the fabric pot and feel how moist it is down there but my plants are just booming. No run off = no wasted synthetic product, except for when there is a lot of build up then you simply flush with RO ph'd and calmag'd water.

  7. Greetings from germany , amazing informations! I'm plannig to install Croop Steering on Coco in my Homegrow (using Canna Coco + Canna nutrients) , waht container capacity would u recommend with 4 Plant in 100x100cm place? 3 Gallon seems so tiny, is croop steering managable on 5gallons?

  8. …are .5gph emmitters too fast ๐Ÿ˜ข i didnt want them but the grow store guy insisted they were better than the .3 and was nearly offended when i tried to grab them anyways ๐Ÿ™ƒ

  9. What would an irrigation example looks like ? For instance if an irrigate 3x a day would a start to irrigate one hour after lights on them halfway though the day then one hour before lights off with each feed irrigating for the same length of time?

  10. amazing content, the P1P2P3 explaination helped alot with understanding the drybacks and what sweet spot to focus on, I did notice my plants did nice when the pots was dry (100% coco coir fabric pots)

  11. This was, especialy for not native english speaker, very well explained. Super informative, and like some allready said, without any unnessecery hype and buzzword throwing. Thanks.

  12. Hey what is the lowest water content percentage you can go down to in rockwool before you start having negative effects from too much dry back? 30% vwc?

  13. This is good information if you're doing synthetics. Organics is a little different. You always want to keep the media wet with organics. I would suggest subirogated planters. You'll get the same effect that he's talking about, but the soil won't fully dry out.

  14. I have been doing grodan and clay pebbles for more than 20 years. 0,5L grodan to 6,5L of pebbles in 7Liter pots. Then i do many plants pr m2 20 plants pr 1,44m2
