6. Danny, try pumping the breaks and realize your nonsense "trying to be relevant and sound like you know something" is crushing to people that would like to know more from the people you interview. Try to be a breatheable fabric, not a fire blanket. The more you get from your amazing guests (hint: it's about them) the better you are. Nobody is here for you, if you can't get the most out of the people you interview. In short, you don't have to prove anything, if you know nothing but are able to draw out information from the people you interview, that's better.

22. I like this guy, and I agree with a lot of this. However, when you hit your big toe with a big hammer, good luck convincing yourself that it’s all ones and zeroes leaving your body in the form of weakness. Also, I started using psychedelics in my 40s as an adjunct to decades of esoteric practice and meditation, and I fucking love them in super human doses. The part of my brain that knew algebra was over-written with a more beautiful brand of learning, and I much prefer this level of understanding, even though it is hard to explain or quantify. You can’t put a triple heroic dose of mushrooms into your graphing calculator and get it to show you something truly beautiful.
