  1. I know that my comment is years late at this point, but why not go the dry sump route with these engines? Seems like a major oversight. It's totally worth it for a time attack/track car

  2. Guys listen and don't hit me with the dumb shit of junk it and trash like that. I have a 96 achieva 3100 sfi V6 it's kinda sentimental in a way now it burbs oil over heats and everything that could go wrong is going wrong also it has 330000 miles on it probably all original gaskets plugs and everything but she overheating a bit and i wont bother listing reasons why but it's kinda a project slash fuck you car and everyone has lost hope and for once I refuse in losing hope I will kill myself if I can't rig it to greatness. But hood scoops I wanna cut a hole and install a functional scoop for shits and giggles but also to help cool it more is it gonna hurt anything in the grand scheme I used to do it to cavilers and other little things just as a joke and as a fist in the air and a finger to the sky but now I need to know will it stay cooler longer

  3. High team is it possible they have so many trouble in their car, when they put new part one in a time and other part break cause they tried to catch up with the upgrades? Instead get all the upgrades put them all in once. Thats why the low cost team had less problems in their car

  4. If you dont have they knowledge or money to do it right, do everyone a favor and go buy a honda. Slap some lowering springs, an exhaust and intake on it and enjoy bein a noob. dont forget stickers and decals add 5hp a piece. 😊

  5. I noticed that sway-bar upgrades were not part of this WRX Hi-Low experiment. Can anyone from Donut tell me why? I own a 2010 WRX wagon and I've thought about upgrading my sway-bars but haven't done it yet. I'm wondering why Donut didn't do a sway-bar upgrade.

  6. I know I’m late to this chat but I’m 45yo and one thing I’ve learned from hands on experience in my life is that if you look up, “lemon” in the dictionary, there’s a picture of a silver 1983 Subaru gl 4 door 4×4 with less than 200,000mi. On its second engine and 3rd failed turbo. Understand, when I turned 16 I was handed down that car with a non working turbo. 0-60 in the mid 20 second range. One plus about that car was that I could reach the starter with a hammer in my left hand while turning the ignition key with my right. It did have electric windows and a digital dash cluster, but the fuel sending unit didn’t work as well as the sunroof and windows. At the end of its life it also had a rag in the gas cap and the third taillight didn’t work as well as the rear defroster. I will never own another Subaru🤣

  7. If you really know nothing about these cars and how to maintain and tune them…these problems happen. Really, you should also buy an STII of equivalent value, totally standard and compare it too
