31. There MUST be a legal way to stop ANYONE from getting too close to the public. My first thought is my outstretched arm which would create the 6 foot bubble around me. Decades ago, we had a distancing trick of pushing index and middle fingers into their soft spot below the Adams Apple, just above the collar bones. Probably will cause an arrest but we should be able to create and maintain personal space. Thoughts?

The cop employs the same assaultive technique as muggers and rapists- crowding in, relying on peoples unfamiliarity with violent behavior to get a jump on their victim by letting the violent perpetrator get too close. In this case the cop used the law-abiding citizens natural deference to authority to achieve the same goal of crowding the victim of his assault. It is disgusting! What a coward to attack a videographer clearly not committing any crime.
