Im only doing 8 plants. I dont have RO filter, but i do run my water through a britta filter. Do you think thats a good alternative?

I felt like half of this video was trying to sell me a RO filter. I’m just gonna use my fridge’s filtered water like usual.
I checked RO filters online and the first ones that came up were about 2000$ that ain't cheap.

so germ your seed, put it in a 1 gallon fabric pot with fox soil and high humidity or cup on top untill it sprouts and it will he good for 2 weeks bc of the nutes in the soil alr so just water with ph tested water or could i just use distilled ph tested water instead of spending money on a filter? (lmk) and then after 2 weeks start with a light feed of nutrients just haveinf trouble with the nutrients and soil with specific time periods
distilled water is also good (0 ppm literally pure water)
you can buy a distiller the size of a coffee pot for less then $200 and no waste;
R.O. filters have ALOT of waste/"grey" water
My tap at home is between 70-80 ppm…. Can't justify an ro
If you don’t flush, you can taste, you can definitely taste flushed bud always taste better than buds that have stored nutrients that have dried with it
My smoke is smooth as can be and I don’t flush. I’ve done the flushing many times thru the years and have never noted any difference. I will say the taste from soil is better than coco or rockwool, but I still prefer the inert substrate at least for indoor grows. Good info all around and excellent analogy for a hassle free setup of the RO filter 👍🏻

Flushing is bro science, im 12 years in and never noticed a difference. Only need to drop to 45% last 2 weeks

I invested in a small distiller for about 100 bucks or so, makes approx 1 gal of distilled water in about 3 hours. I originally got it for my CPAP machine, but I also use it to water my plants and as drinking water. And I bout some trace mineral drops to replace the good minerals that are removed along with the bad stuff from the distillation process. Not only does it taste amazing, but 1 gal of distilled water is $1.40 at the store. So if I make 1 gallon of water a day, I make my money back in just a couple of months of using it. And that's also including the price of electricity it takes to use. It's about the size of a large coffee machine and just sits on my kitchen counter. Best thing I've bought in a long time.

Even before becoming a grower I always knew I need ro and to flush it’s common sense but some places out here not gonna name be not flushing at all it’s inane ! What a banger faded along taking rosin globbers out the puffco 3dxl !😮💨👏👏🦾
