4. I must comment again — Newman talking Northwoods debacle that Kennedy immediately said absolutely NO to — Allen Dulles was involved from the beginning. Military was going to shoot down our jets, blame it on Castro; the CIA gambled that the American people would be next to mad & would then support an invasion of Cuba, hence removing Castro from power.
