14. Fuck green harvest. I lived on Maui for 12 years, and my landlord had a few plants (200 or so) and they came in raided the place and took my landlord and his wife to jail for 3 days. Took all the cash and plants. Til this day, they have never been charged. A lot of corruption all over the islands. Look at all the missing people you see in all Walmart’s. It’s real out there, don’t be a haole and respect the land.

18. I adore the plant, science, culture, medical potential, history, opportunity, innovation and the ability to continue learning. For someone that didn't grow up with the opportunity to dive into illegal or legal cannabis markets. This is truly one of my many aspirations in life.

    Some folks online want to gatekeep this industry as much as they can it seems. How would someone go about stepping foot into the industry? Even a video about gaining the experience to be successful would be fantastic or things you wish you would have done or new opportunities you see in this market. LMC, do you do consulting work now a days or just solely content creation (if you dont mind me asking)? Even any insight from anyone in the comments would be much appreciated. P.S F prohibition :]

    I grew up in Kentucky. My house wS raided by the political 4 times over marijuana. My father wasn't even a big dealer, but we lived in a small town, so I guess they were bored.

26. There's nothing wrong with corporations, they're just a type of business. I would strongly discourage people from buying black market cannabis – lots of problems. The legal market is the way. Tax, regulate and treat cannabis like any other CPG. Nothing wrong with that.

29. Man new jersey is the same, $50-60 moldy 8ths all the way up. Only MSOs control the market despite legalizing in 2020. No homegrow is even allowed. So a grey area like caregiving is illegal. NJ issued over 1000 conditional licenses and less than 10 became operational after a year. Most legacy operators can’t afford to buy large property to start. So it’s mainly just wallstreet chads getting the headstart. Now they just lifted the cap on licenses so corporations can expand and buy up all the licenses. Meanwhile, NJ politicians are bragging about how they’re the model state for legalizing “the right way”

35. Living on Maui for 8 years now. I see it first hand. Starting to see California business owners setting up shop and growing. Have my medical card and the prices are steep once you step in the shop. My dispensary barely started selling ounces at around $425+. I was buying locally for a few years, but after finding out how dry some areas would be, I went with the dispensary in the end. There's a lot that still needs to be worked out, but with the history of it all, I'm hoping it can go back to where everyone eats off this.

    They want to push the locals out. They will tell you otherwise, but that's the reality. If there's no locals, there's no aloha. Mahalos for this segment.
