  1. Bummed out that Red Dog dudnt get a mention. I'd add Colt .45, but they might still have it on the east coast. They still had it at the class 6 store on Ft. Bragg about a decade and change ago.

  2. I can remember Black Label beer, my Father got 7 cases of it.. When we were kids. He got them from work, they were all defective cans!! I remember him saying, it's still beer! Haha

  3. i grew up in Louisville , Kentucky and I remember seeing billboard signs advertising OERTEL'S 92 and FALLS CITY BEER from the 1950's . There was also WEIDEMANN BEER and STROH'S BEER around the 1960's . BILLY BEER came out in the 1970's in honor of BILLY CARTER ,brother of PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER . A friend of mine used to drink LITTLE KING'S CREAM ALE . I am not sure of their history ,but afficionados can research these beers .

  4. I remember Schlitz ads from when I was a kid. The Ranier brewery was still prominent in Seattle in the 90s and 00s but now has been transformed. You could still find Hamms in Seattle as late as 2011.

  5. Strohs was brewed in Detroit, Bob Segar mention a case of Strohs in live song. It closed long ago. We found a new version a few yr ago? Total different? Was a let down

  6. "Have a Duke, Have a Duke, Have a Duquesne Beer. Duquesne Beer is all you hear. Happy folks enjoy Duquesne. Have a Duke, Have a Duke, Have a Duke!"

  7. I remember being a kid in the 70s my father drove tractor trailer for Miller beer but he only drank a beer called old German beer in bottles and it always sat in our garage. It was warm he didn’t like cold beer.

  8. Olympia beer was the go to brand. When they sold it the taste changed and was bad. Anyone out there heard of Buckhorn beer? I liked it and it was cheap.
