    It wasn't carved out by the colorado river.

16. Its partially from decades of people staring at screens, they don’t trust their own eyes. It happens especially to the jet-lagged, sleep deprived and buzzed on vacation. It’s why a push for guard rail construction or blocked off roads and trails get put up when these “unintentional” suicides spike.

18. I didn't think it would be that impressive to see, but then we went when I was around 20 and holy cow. It's so different when you're actually there

20. It really is surreal. It's difficult to grasp the scale of it.

    It wasn't until I realized that the tiny speck moving on something winding along the bottom, was actually a white water rafting boat on the Colorado River that I began to understand the magnitude.
