1. To this day the best smoking bud I’ve ever grown was outdoor right in my back yard. (Helped that my back yard was in the heart of some of the best cannabis grow land known to man. Aka Humboldt county nor cal) but the best looking most dank all around herb I’ve ever grown was in a mixed light greenhouse using light deprivation. So you have your normal light dep green house that you cover with a tarp every day after 12 hours of light to trigger early flowering outdoors. But you also add some led or hps lights. So say a 20’x12’ house with 100 plants I’d throw down 4 lights that run during the low light hours or shity days plus have some environmental control and you will get the best of both worlds! That amazing herb you get from natural sun but also the high quality bud light an indoor grow

3. Love your content been a fan for years. Minnesota just legalizes recreational use. So it is now legal for me to grow. It's a huge help and stress off my back.

8. Been growing long time.
   With Hps had to buy buy bulbs, high electricity cost and hard to get rid of all the heat. Leds have improved this.
   Growing in dirt instead of hydro means a lot less nutes. Switching to organic and re using soil is more challenging but brought down the work and cost substantially. I buy and breed seeds with friends, some of the lines we work are better than what we buy, that saves us and everyone we know money. We also keep clones and share them. We gift or smoke everything, so it makes sense to keep quality high and cost low, we can live with less yield bc we have literally way too much weed to deal with.

9. You guys NEED to get Troy and jerry on the pod. They are THE experts on vaporisers and although you know plenty about growing, you clearly don't have much knowledge of vapes and vaping

10. I've been burning trees for 45 years I hope I can burn them for another 30 that's all I want to do😂 and burning the trees that I grew organically is the best feeling ever!

12. I’ve been working on making my native soil fertile. The previous owners of my place had a low maintenance yard with crush rock and there is clay as well. I made a huge compost pile last year right over the spot I’m going to make then big garden and covered it all with cardboard. Now I’ve spread it out and mixed peat moss and some bagged soil and it’s already considerably better looking soil that I’m going to plant into in a couple of weeks

13. Yield to yield between led and Hps the Hps wins every time. Maybe two zips a plant with led compared to 3 and a half with Hps. Kinda a no brainer even if you use more electric than with led. Come on people what do commercial gross use? Led? Nah they’re still using Hps

19. It does not cost a lot to grow once you have a setup especially a closet 6×8 gives me never ending plenty, and enough to give away I like my hobby. Your conversations are worth hearing thanks

22. When I think sustainability there is one thing that a lot of people seem to forget to mention, probably because most people don't want to see it in their plants, and that is making your own seeds.
    Get your hand on some regular Photo's and grow out a male in a separate area/tent, and produce your own seeds. this way you have something to fall back on if for some reason you have to completely start over. Seeds are expensive for what they are and how many you can get from one female.

23. Love this show, I’m not a hater on vaping bud, but if I’m going to put anything in my lungs it’s going to be a big fat doobie. The volcano is decent but it still doesn’t produce the potent effects of a joint

25. Honestly grow lights are so efficient and cheap now it’s pretty negligible if you’re just doing a small tent

26. Knf and jadam is 100x easier than you think. Please give it a try. I’d start with water soluble Ca and/or JLF(you don’t NEED the leaf mold, get a pint mason jar fill it up w plant matter and water… ThTs it)

29. At 7:19 I have a medium that was brought to me in a dump truck and then every year I amend with manure and just regular soil and pro-mix. before I had my elevated beds I just threw a bunch of manure and soil on the ground

30. The beauty of growing outside is the sun and the beauty of nature the downfall of growing outside is if you have a month almost of rain and not sunny days your crop is screwed
