  1. Hell yeah I will do my best to go see him front row even if he's in a wheel chair. I am a disabled War Veteran. I got PTSD, with chronic body pain that I can barely move at times. Ozzy is my mentor on not giving up, and to keep on going, and enjoying life. I feel like Ozzy Osbourne most of the time. But like him I am disabled, but I too can't just be at home all day watching t.v. Hell no!!!

  2. Sure do like Ozzy, I think now Marilyn Manson is my favorite artist, or work of art, both are legendary though, keep on keeping on Ozzy, we love you,

  3. Yeah I have had shows like that where I was sick and had 105 fever but maybe it's something about when you go through a living hell that you persevere through it perhaps? I don't know, but there's a big difference between just not feeling well and physically not having your voice! I used to have that happen to me all the time because my day job was my night job when I was a DJ at a nightclub for most of my younger years. So I would lose my voice from having to yell over the music and people were allowed to smoke in the clubs. So my voice would physically just be gone when it came to band practice the next day. That's no good when you're the singer and you can't even talk. I'm not sure if that's what he means or he just means he's just been putting too much stress on his voice and it just sounds thrashed like when speakers are blown in it sounds like everything's redlining I don't know. Ive had shows and days like that too. Ok, you said you wanted to hear from us so even the old farts tell their stories too. I guess I'm fortunate I have seen Ozzy live 5 * true they're all free ozzfest but unfortunately none of them were with Jake E Lee. I don't know what to tell you dude if he wants to be wheelchair doubt to his shows okay he's been doing that for years though still doesn't make me lose any respect for him.

  4. I think Ozzy should just rest enough so that his spine can heal. I wouldn't want the man to rush onto the stage before his body has a decent chance of recovery. Having said that, I know he just adores his fans and performing so I hope, in the future, he can find a way of performing without hurting himself.

  5. I still have my tickets for my first Ozzy concert a couple of years ago & was so sad when it was canceled- would love to see him in concert if its his choice & he is enjoying it❤

  6. I’ve seen a ton of shows but when I was 18 I saw Joan Jett in Vancouver when her mother had just died. She was crying constantly and looked really bad. I cried for her in the crowd when she told us. But she put on a memorable show and that blew my mind. She had been doing the sets for a long time and it was her passion so she still went 100%. She just wanted to let us know what she was going through and we all yelled “we love you! It’s okay!!!” And we empathized. I will never forget that…

  7. Ozzy man, plz take it easy cuz you have paid your dues n done it all! Your only human like us n as you get much older it comes a time to come to grips n accept the fact that your time of rockin n rollin for your present age is well done n time to retire. I know for myself I would not want to buy a ticket to watch you perform on a wheelchair. I mean that would be like a scene on the Simpsons meaning no disrespect. You had a awesome great career so be proud n happy n enjoy life with your family whe you still can! Bless you OZZY along with the legendary Randy Rhoads!

  8. Most of the people who complain about musicians being past their prime, or not having enough original members or any such problem which might make the performance worse, are older people who may have already seen Ozzy or whoever perform many times before. I mean, especially the people who like to talk about how they saw these artists in their prime in the 70s and they aren't as good now. But the thing is that there are kids or even adults today who never got to see them in their prime who may only now be in a position where they can see truly legendary acts like Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Kiss or Pantera. People who know full well that they aren't as good as they used to be, who are disappointed that they could see Ozzy with Rhandy or Pantera with Dimebag, but god damn it, they still want to go. People who would rather see Pantera with just Rex and Phil, rather than not seeing Pantera at all. I mean I've seen a lot of the legendary acts at festivals but later on in life. I've seen Judas Priest for example 3 times, the earliest being in 2015. I did not see them with the original line up, or in their prime. But they are still good live and I'm happy to say i'm seeing them a 4th time. I never got to see Queensryche with Geoff Tate, but i'm glad i've seen them without him because they were still good. I never got to see Megadeth with their best guitarist, Marty Friedman. But I did get to see them in what I believe is their second best lineup with Kiko Louriero on guitar and Chris Adler on Drums. It was amazing. There are so many other bands I have seen which are past their prime but i'm glad I saw them. Scorpions, Def Leppard, Kiss, Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Slayer. Fuck sake, even Metallica and Iron Maiden who are still exceptional live are technically past their prime. I was happy to take weaker performances but actually get to see them. Because I wasn't alive to see them in the 80s.

  10. I became permanently disabled at age 22 at a summer job in 2003. I’m now nearly 42. I think Ozzy should use anything that’ll help him. It’s a brave thing to do in an industry that’s hung up on appearances — there’s nothing wrong with performing in a wheelchair. If you’re that talented, the chair or other adaptive device ain’t gonna matter. Maybe it’ll inspire the industry to consider the fact that lots of disabled people could be doing amazing things up on a stage, in a studio, etc. As a legend of his craft, perhaps the act of not letting his medical issues stop him will inspire others with disabilities at any age to do whatever it takes to keep their dreams alive. 💪🏻 ♿️

  11. I think Ozzy should go as long as he wants to do it…and as long as people are willing to pay to see him. If performing is his passion and he just wants to do it, why not lower ticket prices so more people can come out? Make it a celebration instead of a money making venture.

  12. Even a Bad OZZY show is still better than no show.

I have seen bands forget song parts, break strings, drop drum sticks (Peter Criss), forget the lyrics, etc. It is all great because it is LIVE!

Now exception to the rule. Artist literally breaks a leg, has a fainting spell, a heartattack, or is set on fire (James Hetfield ), these are cases where the show should stop and the musician given medical care.

But a simple cold or sore throat….just do your best. The fans are their for you as well as your music.

  13. If I lived the life Ozzy has lived I’d keep going till I drop dead. It is a passion and those who treat it that way will go down doing it like the captain of their ship.

  14. It sucks to get old. I would go just to be in his presents while he's alive. I don't care if he performs or not he's the one that influenced my life in a big way! He is a living legend a god!
