  1. I don’t know if I believe the new album. I hope it’s real and does come out but i don’t know when they would have made this album. I can’t imagine they’d be in the studio after Hawkins passing and they have shows booked until late 2023. If they were to release an album or even start making a new one I imagine it would be in early 2024. But this is all just my opinion. I hope I’m wrong and it comes sooner.

  2. I would volunteer to drum for the Foo Fighters, but I don't like how much Grohl sucked up to Big Pharma and pushed the vaccine agenda on his bandmates and fans.

  3. Chris Moyles was the DJ. Also once Moyles was having a beer outside a pub with his BBC security bloke Acer when Dave walked past and slapped Chris on the back in a friendly greeting and the security took Dave down and pinned him to a table not knowing who he was.

  4. I've seen the Foo Fighters a few times, and I went to Taylor's tribute show in LA.
Already have tix for Boston calling, curious who the new drummer will be. Those a big shoes to fill! 🦅🥁🖤🤘

  5. Former Bad Religion drummer Brookes Wackerman should drum for the Foo Fighters😊he’s a good solid hard rock and punk rock musician, good luck 2023 moving forward.

  6. My prediction: Dave played the drums on the upcoming album. They will have guest drummers for the tour. Dave definitely belongs front on stage.

  7. I am so excited for this. I really hope this is a post Taylor album. I hope this will be an album about dealing with that pain and moving on. I have a feeling it is going to be a real powerful album.

  8. I find myself thinking about what friends Foo Fighters have that they could probably talk into playing post-Hawkins. Josh Homme, maybe, for one record? Maybe Joey Castillo? They could do what Ozzy did with the guitarists on his last record, but touring with a bunch of extra drummers on the road would likely be logistically difficult.

  9. My educated guess is that Dave Grohl will play the drums on the studio albums. At least for the foreseeable future. For the live shows they'll bring on a touring drummer, like Genesis did.

Should that ever change and the touring drummer becomes a permanent addition? Who knows. But for now I think they're going to keep that drum seat vacant and not officially fill it with anybody new (re: new drummer member).

  10. How have they kept what happened in Colombia under wraps? They all live in LA with the largest paparazzi around. How has it been almost a year and no details have been released? Also, why is the media not asking that or any questions?

  11. they were rumored to have scheduled studio sessions a few months ago, but i honestly think this might be a taylor hawkins tribute show live album

  12. If there is an impending release, I assume it'll be B-sides from past sessions or something like that…something that would honor Taylor, along the lines of Led Zeppelin's Coda.

  13. Valentino and I will ask him to make sure they don't into anymore trouble in the past comes back to haunt him as a bandit called Duke demands the dollars which Flint owes him in his debut in UFC and the current world light-weight champion of the room above the boys were all conscious of the mouthfuls of dust they were inhaling as they worked their way through the maze of grime filled corridors in their March 6th 6 and the walls of which mouthfuls many dust they were inhaling as they worked their way through the maze of grime filled corridors in the ceiling over their heads spilled out.

Like If You Agree 👍 ³

  14. I think, for now anyway, Dave will play drums in the studio and They'll probably just play select festival shows with someone like Josh Freese on drums. That's my bet anyway

  15. Take your time Dave. Taylor is going to be a hard act to follow. Go through a lot of drummers who are not attatched to any band. At least he has to be familiar with all the drum techniques of every song ever recorded. He has to either be as good as Hawkins or set the bar higher. whatever you do, take your time vetting them. (my favorite is learn to fly, the pretender, monkey wrench and everlong. Fly is at the top and I have played it to death on my play list much to the annoyance of my coworkers. I don't care, they're replayable . Please no Megan Trainor!!!! or anything bubble gum compression of the sound and autotune. Ergh!!)
