11. I think Satoshi is the NSA. Cash is almost impossible to trace. But with crypto currency you can tell when high dollar transactions are made and can essentially be traced to a wallet, and eventually a person. So the NSA has created the ultimate honeypot.

    1. The Silk Road was one piece. It just got thrust to the lime light because of Reddit and Adrian Chen. We were too open on the sub, it was an extension of the forums. Chen trawled the sun then made his Gawker article.

    The meta on the SR started there. You saw reviews of vendors, learned who was the fastest, what pharmacies had the best shipping…did they send you a FED EX TN, did they wrap the bottles and place Cotton in them or would you get a rattler.

    After the ring got shut down the websites disappeared and the market switched to crypto based dark web commerce and……western Union.

    This market was never talked about. It probably formed from groups who focused on the Drugbuyers forum.

    You order what you want from the website. You then are given a name and city (Tijuana) and you sent a Moneygram or western Union.

    You were then mailed goods.

    Wrapped in carbon paper.

    This is for anyone who thinks the above info is a larp. I’m sure there are still people out there from that era.

    I guess the Silk Road is enough to have it occupy a spot in the zeitgeist.

    An entire market happened from people walking into CVS, sending money to some random with Moneygram and snail mail as the courier.

42. the government created bitcoin and the blockchain and knew it wouldn’t be used or trusted if it was released and advertised by the government. so they made this fictional character to make it seem like a “grass roots” alternative to government regulated currency. they got people all the way invested in it.. and then will release Fed Coin and make that mandatory use. making it easy to track any and every transaction. also be able to freeze, empty, or erase entirely, anyones account/wallet.
