Patrick Girondi is an Italian-American singer, composer and pharmaceutical executive/patient advocate. In his book, Patrick Girondi hunts for a cure for Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia in the world of gene therapy. Girondi writes: “I’d been strangled, shot at, skated more than twenty arrests, made it through 3 FBI witch-hunts and went from the docks to trading and big money. I would see my son cured.” But again, the success of the cure—and the fate of his son—is imperiled, in a world of lab jackets, mysterious deaths, and cut-throat Wall Street banksters.

  1. Another sociopathic narcissistic white man who has no comprehension of anything outside of himself and his fake thug Mayo life oh this is going to be sooooo original and refreshing! 😂 “Everybody” this and “Everybody” that you sound pathetically ignorant and inept. Life experiences are not the same for “everybody” tough guy. Thank god clowns like this are on the way out!

  2. I have that dis ease. Mother assumed trickery during the first significant pain crisis, cried for what felt like hours while her bf told her to ignore. Ended up pretty poorly and couldn't walk for almost a fortnight. Went years healthy always refusing to acknowledge it then almost lost my eye to a detached retina from sick cell retinopathy followed by more pain issues. Doctor referred to another about platelet transplant of some sort but without siblings with the same parents it wasnt possible plus too old. Got an uncle whos lived on disability his adult love getting cars, housing etc but didn't want to be that way, perhaps I'm dumb.

  3. I work at Walmart warehouse and that's cool that Mr Walton did that back then to help. I don't believe the ones that own it now care that much anymore or at least it doesn't seem like it at all

  4. Black people and POC are the only ones with privilege in this country. From extra points at school to getting the job based on color and not skill to fill a quota to now a proposed bill to give them 25k for a down payment on a house because "muh racial inequality" it's so fucking tiring.

  5. @6:09 Marxism is what’s causing all this insanity. Some years back, some commie intellectuals adapted Marxism to race and gender to specifically target American culture. It has spread like wildfire. Wokeness is a name they hide behind. Don’t use that term. Marxism is the correct and more accurate term.

If they fully gain power, millions will be murdered and sent to gulags for slave labor and reeducation.

  6. I’ve just finished watching Dopesick which was a huge eye opener. Gobsmacked over so much stuff in it, particularly the wholesale advertising of drugs, well promotion of drugs, it’s not advertising, there’s a difference.
The USA seems to exist for wealthy people to continually work over their citizens.

  7. Tad bit of a narccksskdt. But a loyal and loving father who is selfless to.the ones he loves…..natccissism encourages him too tell each story interesting, joyful and to make him.look.cool...but he gets a pass since hes got style..

  8. screw the corrupt big pharma! it's about the greedy dollar, not the cure! and there's cures! look into sound, frequency resonance vibration! we have such an evil government deceiving politicians with no integrity and compassion for human life!

  9. he is a friend of my family..my Mom loved him everyone should buy his book..he very smartt and he knows what he' s talking about…the doctor told me once that i had Mediterranean disease..but that was a hunch..never went threw with it.Italy is much cheaper in medicine.

  10. So why close this facility now that your son is well able to live an improved life? There are so many children who don't have advocates and resources to these special treatments. My cousin died of this. She was just months shy of getting the same cell therapy replacement (years of being on a waiting list and found a donor match) before she died brain surgery recovery, after many childhood strokes. The never ending pain episodes, strokes and years of blood transfusion, deterioration of the bone, is something that she and thousands of children still endure. More so children of color. So include this with medical discrimination because many medical professionals don't fully understand or emphasize with the sickell cell disease…so many patients are accused of wanting or abusing pain medication and drips when in reality, they are in so much pain. Help, advocates and more mainstream support is needed to give thousands of the same break through treatments.
