25 thoughts on “Google Embarrass Themselves (A.I. War Is Heating Up)

  1. We live in a time of loneliness and isolation epidemic, with people not trusting each other and only communicating through screens.
Let's throw a soulless chat AI into this mess, surely that will make things better and not further divide communication and interaction between people.

  2. Very keen to see how this AI war plays out between Microsoft and Google. Meanwhile, Apple Inc will continue to release similar looking iPhone models every year with improved specs and market it as the best phone we've ever made.

  3. Just thought about it – I'm happy to say that absolutely no aspect of my life is in anyway AI dependent. Does that mean I'm missing out on something? Or that I'm free? TBH, when I want someone to tell me that a chair might not fit in the boot of my car, but then it might , I'll can go down to the pub… mind blowing? Not for me, bub.

  4. Live demo's. Pre-record and pretend you're delivering it live. It's way too risky to actually do it live in front of a large audience. I've seen it fall apart so many times and it takes seconds of failure to convince people the solution isn't for them.

  5. Good thing Microsoft has not given up on the Office Suite. A.I. integration brings a very valuable tool the Office Market. With a few good vocal questions and optimizations in Word you can have a lot more than grammar corrections. You can have it re-write for you and check for foolish paragraphs. Even let it summarise a paragraph or page for you in modern or old school style. Much to come to Office I am sure.

  6. You asked what I think: I think investors are flighty. So what? They took 100 Billion $$'s and moved it over to Bing~? (I mean I know they didn't necessarily move it to Bing, but if they took it out of Google by selling it, it is gonna cost them Billions more now to buy the same Google stock.

  7. 14:04 "All I need is a few more users and someone else…" ~ what the hell does this even mean~? ~ what does "someone else" mean in his statement~? (I get, "a few more users" even though it's apparently WAY more than a few – like 70% more – according to what Cold Fusion's earlier video about this e.g. Google Panics Over ChatGPT [The AI Wars Have Begun])

  8. What are the two worst names one could invent as titles to use for a product when web browsing?
Words so bad that you feel far too embarrassed to mention them in the company of other people.
    I give you.
    BARD-ah-BING.
