50 thoughts on “Elon’s Twitter Circus (With Updates)

  1. It was well know information that the FBI owns a lot of Twitter and Facebook etc it's a free database for them and isn't classed as illegal or breaching data protection laws because people who use social media are giving all of their personal information freely and publicly.

  2. My first thought is, that the FBI should confess what they did. It is not lawfull nor sensible to have platforms like Twitter be functioning under mass communication controls which are influenced by intransparent forces.

  3. Way to sugar coat everything for your leftist audience, but at least you're exposing them to a lot of the points they would not hear from the legacy media.

  4. Elon is a republican. He is only talking all the negative stuff against the democrats .. the guy got money from the democrats to build his Tesla factory with our taxes and now he wants the republicans so he can pay les taxes πŸ˜‚

  5. Mr tweet, is businessman, and he's got a plan on how to make money out of a dying horse, and he's doing as he absolutely should, he's fired ppl who were doing a bunch of absolute nothingness, as he should

  6. Elon musk has done more for free-speech than anybody in the past several decades. Add a cost for sure, but when you have government mediating media Contant that should scare the hell out of everybody.

  7. Wishing best of luck to Elon Musk for his twitter project. Thank Lord for getting rid of indu mania because they were a big pain in
_ _ _ My advice to Mr Elon Musk. Fire anyone who says you cannot do it or achieve. Because they are plain loosers discouraging you for being successful in life πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸŒŸπŸ†
Use good marketing tactics to promote twitter. Hv i offended anyone? Good

  8. Elon lacks tact, but I don't really understand the over-the-top criticism. Twitter has been hemorrhaging money since day one and everyone who follows the tech space has known this since forever. They spent obscene amounts of money hiring armies of engineers for what must be the least amount of progress of any platform. When you hear that someone is a software engineer for Google, or Facebook, or just about any other big tech social media company, you can at least understand what it generally is that they do. Even if they suck, Facebook does add new features pretty regularly. And, I mean, Google needs to pay someone to do the nitty gritty work of shutting down a different chat service every other week.

But what the fuck are all these people working on at Twitter? Figuring out how to make their streaming codecs blockier? Making sure the home page shits itself and starts looping after scrolling down 50 – 100 or so posts on the desktop site? Moving around which empty space is clickable this week so you can accidentally lose your place in the endless scroll? Improving the random number generator they use to determine which posts need to be content blurred? Figuring out new ways to make the fucking "hide this content" button overlap with the Goddamn fullscreen button so you have a 2 pixel wide window to expand the video instead of blur it again!?!?

Yeah, I know that the actual server and database maintenance takes a lot. There's all kinds of complicated back end shit that's going on with any tech company that requires engineers to constantly be working on. Even companies that seem to be stagnant are often spending boat loads of time and money on constantly adding more racks to their datacenters and constantly migrating this shit around as they upgrade the hardware. I get this. But it seems to me like if Twitter has been so unprofitable for so long, with so much controversy, and with one of the worst reputations on the internet that maybe the company needs a shake up. 4 million dollars lost every day with the board seemingly going about their business with zero urgency as if everything is dandy is a pretty good reason to come to the conclusion that there are a lot of poor choices of people in decision-making positions at that company.

Elon really needs to learn how to shut the fuck up once in a while, though. His inability to not talk about things while they're still in the brainstorming phase causes about 90% of his problems.

  9. At the very beginning you jumped straight into "Musk Steps In" at 2:13. Jack Dorsey was always against Elon taking over the company, he was actively advocating for Twitter board to stop him.

You jumped straight into when Elon gets involved with the company, but you made no mention of politics. The main reason Elon took over the company was because of what the Liberals/Leftist agendas are doing to the US. They are weaponizing government programs, big tech to censor and destroy peoples lives, all while silencing them. Elon was actively engaged with users like myself talking about how this is wrong and he wanted a free voice platform.

At 3:50 its very clear that you missed most of what actually happened, and I can't even watch the rest of this.

  10. I don't trust mask as far as I can throw him. However, Twitter became a huge fraud. Government was literally paying them to ban people they didn't like. They became known for censoring dissenting views on everything from covid to election fraud to Ukraine. I do realize that most Democrat party voters approve of censoring speech they don't want to debate in the public square. Twitter basically became a publisher with government protection from lawsuits. Unlike real publishers. Their fact-checkers were absolutely ridiculous. I can remember in the early days of big tech they led us to believe they were basically libertarians who believed in total free speech. Then they started acting like Chinese communist party dictators who know best for us. Frankly I have enjoyed the chaos. Maybe Twitter employees can learn to code. (Wink)

  11. The more I see Elon Musk tweet the less I think of him. He'll say how he's neither left nor right, and then gullibly repeat the same garbage right-wing boomers share on facebook. Like he's not that far off from retweeting Qanon shit like Trump does.

  12. 20 min video and you're missing the most important point of buying Twitter… and that is to restore free speach. You could've get banned on almost all social platforms for saying things that left doesn't like. Now Twitter is the only platform besides Truth Social and Rumble where you say whatever you wany and don't get your account suspended.

  13. I generally like the videos from here, but this is by far the worst one I've seen. It gives way too much credibility to the conspiracy theorists of the twitter files side. The Biden laptop thing is based on the account of a laptop repair person that did not have any evidence and the twitter files side itself basically linked to nudes of Hunter Biden which Joe who was not apart of the government at the time, had his people ask Twitter to not publish them.

  14. What people need to realise that a Twitter web application is insane simple but adopted worldwide, that doesn't warrant thousand of developers unless most engineer sucks, do little work or continuous engineer hiring is the SOP required to justify continuous pumping of $ from investors… πŸ˜‰

  15. I opened a twitter account in July '21…by June '22 I tried so hard to get banned as I was so sick of wasting my time being a slouch…
So I tweeted something about Justine Turdeau's plane falling out of the sky with him "innit" as he went holidaying in Costa Rica…. lol..
Abruptly banned for life for a joke….it's such a joke! πŸ€·πŸ»πŸ˜‚…. who knew it would end like that?… my life is so much better off for it! 😁

  16. The whole E.Musk character seems pretty fake to me. SpaceX, Tesla, Twitter, is nothing but a money laundering. The only question is: by whom? Why would anyone spit out $44bln for something that was accumulating debts and had no other interested buyers? Had he offered $100 millions for Twitter, they would've said yes!

  17. I really, really liked Elon Musk. Tesla, SpaceX and in some aspects even the Hyperloop were and still are revolutionary pioneers to the future, and all of them were spearheaded by Elon. Musk himself had the right ideas about improving the world, and he is one of very, very few people who actually have a real chance to change the world in a way he sees fit. But the whole Twitter debacle really destroyed a lot of trust in him. It's like the more popular and influencing Elon gets, the worse decisions he makes and the worse his critical thinking is. While back in the day he was known to indulge in a meme or two, or even crack a dick joke once in a while, this whole Twitter thing looks more like a hormonal teen taking a meme too far, rather than intelligent business decision by sober minded leader. Elon easily, stupidly easily could've just invested 44 billion dollars into SpaceX, Tesla, or some battery company and not only saved faced in public eye, but also improved lives of many, many people, as well as improving the environment. Instead he chose stressful and unprofitable live of world's leading jester.

  18. Honestly as seen from his perspective, this makes a lot more sense now.
He was "joking" to look cool, but soon got dragged into a complete mess that anyone in their right mind would try to run away from. It's his fault tho. As for the western WeChat version – perhaps not a bad idea, but good luck breaking the Twitter image and culture. Might as well start from the ground up with that much money to throw away.

  19. I'm not surprised that the left once again turned out to be a bunch of corrupt fascists. Since Biden's administration already lied about "Russian disinformation" one cannot help but wonder what other lies they're telling us to this very day.

As funny as it sounds, the "evil" right are the liberal ones while the left are corrupt opportunists adversaries of personal freedoms. Figures.

Elon Musk is the man, by the way.

  20. This is an important moment in time for humanity and freedom of speech. Routing out state run tyranny is always messy but, incredibly important. Thank god for Elon Musk
