28 thoughts on “THE MOST ICONIC VIDEOS IN METAL & ROCK

  1. It looks like I'm the only one whose going to point out the horrific animal ab*se of that monkey in the NIN video…. that everyone just casually skips over like we just watched someone flip a light switch or open a door.

  2. I have not doom scrolled the comments and with total respect to Finn i am so disappointed that during the Fred Durst/cameos with lasting relevance there was not a freeze frame from Pauly Shore just to remind us all that no one is 100% on their forecasts lol. Excellent list.

  3. This kinda seemed more like your personal favorite list, rather than a list of the videos that were actually iconic in rock music. You included several videos that didn't even stand out to me when they came out, while leaving out some of the most well known videos in music. When you do this list without including "Smells Like Teen Spirit" or "I Stay Away" by Alice In Chains, it limits the credibility of the list. The puppets from "I Stay Away" are actually housed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. "Man in the Box" was the first hit of the Grunge movement. "Jeremy" was a very influential video as well. There were a lot of videos that should have been included on this list.

  4. That last song & video suck so much ass. Nothing but a mumbled pro junkie song recorded by two dopes in front of a cell phone camera. Not edgy & groundbreaking but rather sad & pathetic.

  5. come on bro I usually nine times out of 10 you hit the nail square up on the head straight up but then sometimes you say the stupid s*** them TV and videos did not push Metallica into super start them I hated videos when they were doing the Justice tour they were with Ozzy and half the crowd would walk out after Metallica was done they pushed themselves into Superstar the mostly some say I don't agree but by selling out on the Black album and they were pretty damn famous before that by just hardcore ass road dog torn with good ass thrash metal music

  6. I was staying up late watching television one night in high school and saw the Closer video on MTV. That video freaked me out but made me very curious about NIN. When I went off to college and got into my dorm room the first CD I bought was The Downward Spiral.

  7. I’ve been binging your videos man, but you missed the mark on Guns n Roses November Rain, the song and video that ended GnR. When you lose Slash, it’s not GnR anymore. The guy was out of his mind on drugs and booze, and even he could still see that that song and video were horseshit.

  8. Th3 guy who did the opening mini film of se7en is probably the best in the game at it, he did Girl With The Dragon Tattoo as well, and with the NIN remix its a movie in itself
