nelson really chose to speak facts. its really up to us as the consumer to fix our industry in a way. lik ohios medical industry is absolutely a joke that shouldnt even exist in the first place. we truly have to boycott all these companies that consistently puts out bad batches; idk the last time ive shopped at a ohio dispensary since 90% of the flower isnt cured right, dried right, or has actual mold, just check the ohio marijuana reddit. and its unethical that theres no opportunities for black and brown people to get a license, this industry seems like it was made for the wealthy, and not people who are actually passionate for the plant.

Also first one to bring up the human trafficking connection with some of these over sexualized bag designs, doja.pak+deep east(deo farms) connection & origin. I'd also encourage people to dig deeper for themselves their direct cartel ties and money laundering that goes into stuff like illegal grows(taping state power, resources) + human trafficking + scamming. They are not as mutually exclusive as you might think, and deeply connected and embedded with some of the "biggest players" in the current cannabis industry.

What Nelson is describing is the ownership class in the united states and wealth preservation. 80% of the wealth in this country is inherited. The number one problem with the US is GREED. People who have the ambition to create and preserve wealth, where it should be DISTRIBUTED to people so they can earn a living wage and create improved quality of life.
The working class is being exploited, not just in cannabis, but any industry that requires labor, in the US. Greedy business owners fail to pay a living wage and provide benefits, which create a struggling working class, that cannot afford to create savings, let alone, generational wealth.
The working class in the US is just a version of modern day slavery.
