Anyone educated on the strategic importance of Ukraine would know that it has not been called THE Ukraine since the Soviet era. Referring to the country of Ukraine by it's former designation of an area of land within the USSR is like referring to the Midwest in America. I'm guessing the host's use of the designation of THE Ukraine as a Soviet state is out of a lack of knowledge and not a Pro Putin, Pro Soviet reinstatement stance.

Basically what the CIA looks for is someone who's a good manipulator and in a way gullible someone who believes the lies the government will tell them and someone willing to set morals aside for "the good of the u.s".
