Ive tried sooo many strains over the years....but when something smells nostalgic it just hits harder.....I found a lost gem...

Have you guys heard about the vertical grow towers? It's literally soilless! Best hydroponic method I've seen!
Would sand count for silica while outdoors? In Wis Much before start of march the plant gets too big come May 15 the earliest plants should go out. They can make it planted on 4/29 also. have to judge spring. 2nd weekend of june the latest ive got them out. June 21 the light flips. Sex shows mid july. end sept mid oct normal end of tric milk to amber time frame.
So ive been told anyway,
6 weeks from sprout!
I use 5gal food grade plastic pots.
I drill holes in the bottom + holes drilled every 3" starting at the bottom to top. Turn bucket 1/4 turn repeat hole pattern.
Living soil.
Hand water.
Iβve had good luck with 3 gallon plants topping once and keeping two branches below the topping. You can fit close to 9 pots in a 4×4. All plants produce 4 healthy branches but depending on cultivar will stack and side branch differently. I go for flip on day 42 of veg. Get about a zip off each plant .
You can go automation without much. I just built a fully automated system that has built in fail-safes, and even fail-safes to the fail-safes. Will even continue running in the event that the network is down for whatever reason. Does everything but raise and lower the lights, and trim the plants, but it will automatically calculate the temp, rh, and vpd for every week of the grow based on a couple user inputs, and will alert my phone, pc, and alexa devices in the case of any issue at all. Built it for about $50 and is does more than any system on the market, including the $10-20k commercial systems. Hell, it even monitors the devices and keeps a real time total for the cost of the grow. Floated the idea of selling the programmed boards, but I don'y know if I will or not.
We grew N Lights in the 90βs without any of this . Watch your plant
buenos videos gracias
Ohio cannabis cup the grew a huge auto from speedrun
My current one I flipped at 19 days
I have to go scromit π
With hydro I veg for 10 days. With soil Iβll veg up to 3 weeks. Then itβs a light cycle of 13 on 11 off. Maximize the DLI during the flowering cycle, yet the plants flower as normal. Growing since 1989.
I use promix hP and I let my plants dry back until they droop. I also foliar feed and I get pretty good growth. Don't forget to add PowerSI and Recharge π
Yes veg for 30 days I focus more on foliar spraying then I feed veg nutes first week of flower then after that nothing but flower nutrients and water
So nice to hear intelligent conversation.
Iβm trying my hand at sea of green right now. Iβm running 15 autos in a 3×5. Wish me luck.
Did you guys talk about veg time for seed production ? Once sex is known you can reveg for more production and size .
warm soil encourages fast growth…i use electric blankets under the pots..prune the bottom branches by a 3rd.full leaf strip and flower 7 days later..
Depends on genetics people
Love to see your grow off what u advertise
Pigeons what state do you grow in? VA?
NFT if you want fast veg.
What a great debathful questions and answears! Amazing!
I literally fimmed my Tuna Kush seedlings at 10 days old. They already have 5 nodes π€¨
Best thing you can do with those plastic pots is go ham with a drill bit. I like 3/8 holes all around the the bottom couple inches and you can mark it out to make the spacing look nice. Ive tried both fabric and hard plastic and regardless of pot the aeration is key. 3-5 gallon has always been fine for synthetic as long as im not vegging super long.. long enough for big roots though.
very helpful podcast, everyone continuously coming with factual helpful takes. W Podcastπ₯π₯π₯
Small plants equals a small harvest and the price you pay! My 2×4 dictates how much veg they get. It's dumb to be in a hurry! One cannot hurry nature!
Use well rooted clones in 1 gallon containers 49 fit in 16sq ft perfect
No veg needed
Straight to 12/12
Easy yield up to 2 pounds in 70 days
Actually the clones rooting time is the veg growth time
The most ideal situation I think would be smaller containers, faster veg time, better results! Lately I've really been interested in trying to see what 1 gallon or 2 gallon pots can achieve. I really got going when I seen this dude growing these decent sized plants in Solo cups. His secret is he feeds them multiple times during a feed and he'll let it drain and drain so these plants are eating a longer amount of time during that feed, which results in decent-sized plants in little small solo cups. I think he uses the bigger Solo cups not the really small ones. He uses Coco coir, obviously
I think transplanting all comes down if you're going Autos or photos. When I'm going photos outdoors I always start and really small containers, grow them out for a few weeks and move them outside. But for my autoflowers indoors I start them in their final containers, it all comes down to using the right watering methods at that point when you're starting in the final container.
For aeration what I do is just run an air stone in the water for like 15-20 minutes, and then if you use like a coco coir mixed with perlite. Roots explode. My plant in roots organic original blend is outgrowing my plant in fox farm mixed with happy frog and ocean forest.
Larger starter pot the larger end result outdoors I've seen. Everyone is different. Indoor is different too.
As far as auto raising lights…. all you need is the same trip sensor used on garage doors.
Automation is one thing that helps but walking away and doing nothing means we need robot caregivers to pay attention, prune, move, nudge or eliminate un-wanted growth…..lets hope it doesn't come to that. For me sitting in front of my plants enjoying a morning coffee and looking in amazement at the last days growth is a very calming time of day for me. Where I am it's 4 plants max, so I have 4 outside and 4 in the basement, just incase there's prying eyes.
Man i get 35-40g dry per tree and im good . I run perpetual 21-28 day. plant 1 pull 1 then 7-14 day dry/cure . Keeps me busy all year
6 weeks at the most
Let's go jay's
I veg for 21 days in 3 gallons n can get 20 of em in a 10 x8
6:25 for sure
In these days of overload of unstable strains and wrongly labelled and mis-sold seed stock it's like a lottery.
I like the idea of letting plants compete for nutes to a certain extent. 3 to a 10gal container sounds kinda fun.
I usually veg a plant at least 8 weeks in DWC so I can train it to fill out a 4Γ4 tent with it, and I average 1 pound of buds.
i watch all 3 of you individually, and have watched a few FTS episodes, & y'all Crush it together. 1-2-3-420Crewπ±
great job from you 3 as of late keep it up fellas.
