They missed the guy in the monkey suit, not because of faulty memory, but because they were being deliberately distracted by the balls being tossed. It is the explanation for why magic tricks fool people. Sleight-of-hand, selective interpretation, not proof of false or faulty memory. People who are fixated on one possibility or on “proven science“ provided by authorities or experts, will rarely see anything else as well. Methinks someone in this conversation is playing this sleight-of-hand game and may not even realize they’re doing it because their credentials have convinced them that they know what is what. This guy saying "probably" when referencing a collision between two solar system bodies while also saying he is soooo skeptical…..like really dude proof positive there is no proof that a theoretical large body collided with our planet 4 billion years ago. I'm sorry but Man caused Global Warming is complete BS. We track CO2 Emissions, we track temperatures of the globe, and theres no correlation. Just look at the industrial revolution era. Complete horse sht.
Is the planet warming, sure, undeniable its happening. But this is natural, cyclical event the planet always goes through. You can compare global warming and cooling throughout history to prove this.
I wrote a 60 page paper in college completely refuting this man caused global warming narrative. This narrative exists only to attempt to kill the oil industry, and prop up a new industry, whether its solar, nuclear, or something else.
If CO2 was the primary cause of global warming then the temperatures today should vastly exceed that of the industrial revolution era, where cars, factories, etc started emerging and pumping vast amounts of CO2 into the air, compared to today where those same things exist in significantly larger quantities.
If we are talking about half a degree, thats not evidence of causation, but unrelated correlation. Misconstruing the Earth's natural cycle with the belief we have changed its natural cycle.
For a scientist, this guy says a lot of absolutes that are simply false. Like we know all the elements. We don't. Wheres stable element 115. It was only proven that the element exists unstable, in recent decade or so.
