While I love the SVX, if I was going to attempt something like this I would've done it with a 2nd generation Forester XT with a turbo and manual transmission. Or on second thought, maybe a Baja with the turbocharged engine and manual transmission. It's a cool build though.
Cool video taking a Subaru to the extreme and way past it's limitations. Fun to watch but you're going to be doing repairs along the way.
