Kids today have no clue how what kids used to do for fun in the 1970s. Everyone was their own stuntman. Many of those things have either become illegal or socially unacceptable. In this video we will take a closer look at 1970s things that kids no longer do!

The loss of freedom in exchange for safety resulted from the constantly increasing presence of lawsuits for everything.
if there would be any time period i would grow up in it would be the 70s or 80s, i mean as today no of my friends want to go outside i am glued to the pc because i have nothing else to do, sad to be honest, but if i could i really just would throw myself on that bike and go out with friends and do fun and dangerous stuff!
I wish I had a computer growing up.I would have loved to learn more.Today, kids don't know how to think for themselves.,People used to be proud of the work they did .How smart they were.Today,it seems to be a contest to see who is the dumbest. Coddled at work because no one wants to work anymore. So,have to keep the "special" ones now.Kind of depressing
There were hardly any fat kids, no-one cared about the clothes labels, we had long hair, kipper ties and everything felt new & exciting! There was never much money and we made do & mended. The worst thing about the 1970's was nylon shirts and nylon bed sheets, dreadful material!
I remember having big water 🔫 fights at the park doing the summer in Chicago during the 90s
Nothing like being a kid in the 2010s, now 2020s suck.
WE MADE A CLUB HOUSE WITH A SECOND FLOOR OUT OF DOORS 😆
Donuts on a string? That's crazy
“I’m bored”, mom: “here’s a rag & windex, go clean the windows” “I’m bored”, seemed to dissapear fm my vocabulary😂 When raising my kids, I tried this “experiment” … result: “that’s child labour, illegal in the USA” 😮 🤔
Its almost like parents were trying to raise their kids to become adults. Personal responsibility was a major part of growing up back then.
Born in 78 but can relate to all of these.
Those 60s and 70s kids are why things are still working, when they are gone here will come communism under the disguise of Marxist ideology and everything will collapse..
Kids today don't even play in their back yards.
Although I'm not a 70's kid, I had a similar life style as a kid in the late 90's and early 2000's. My family used to live in a house that was from the 70's. But it was in that neighborhood that I got to experience the best childhood. My next door neighbor was my best friend and he would always ask if I could play. I went on so many adventures with my friends and my brother basically doing a lot of the stuff like in this video. There was no internet, only for my dad I think. I miss playing with my toys which I actually still have stored away. I wish I could go back so bad, just one day with me and my toys. Fast forward to my high school days around 2008-2012, I still never had a phone or a car. All I needed was my Ipod, classic rock and jazz is how I got around. One more thing, my parents lived through the 70's and I feel like the 70's is in my blood. I even still play my dad's instruments from the 70's like the Fender Rhodes Electric Piano. Most of my friends are actually old people lol, I sometimes feel I was born too late.
Wouldn’t want to be a kid today, no way, no how. The 60s–70s were awesome.
Life was so free and soooo much better! How did we let this happen? So many freedoms taken away😭
I took tuna and crackers to school and everyone poked fun of me, and butter sandwiches (gross to think of now ) nowadays if your kid gets a ring scratch or bruise from playing or a fall you have Cps at your door ready to take pictures and force you into family services. My kid walked around the corner to play at his classmates last year and the neighbor called Cps on me and said neglect and I was sleeping, liar. I was in the back (1/3 acre property) gardening. Wish they would bring Saturday cartoons back
Mercurochrome was the best stuff. Pain went away in seconds and you were ready to go hurt something else. My mom still has some and uses it, yes it still works, lol. OMG! I had everything on that page at 9:07, I was even in the Six Million Dollar Man Club and still have the papers for it.
I grew up in the 1960's & 70's too. For the life of me I don't know what kid's do for fun in their free time? I rarely see kid's playing in park's or anywhere outside like us kid's did. I think most of the time they are on the internet indoor's even on beautiful summer day's. It's really sad.
I have a few scars with great back stories from the 70s- smiling as I say that… GOOD TIMES
Saturday morning cartoons were fun.
People signing your cast when you broke your arm seems like a very strange practice now that I think about it. When I broke my arm I carried a magic marker around with me at all times, in school or anywhere else, so people could sign my cast. I could understand how it kind of makes sense to sign people's yearbook, but I don't know how signing your cast ever came to be a thing.
It was wonderful time. People lived, not just performed and pretended to live
I remember being constantly covered in bruises and scabs on knees and elbows. I had to wear shorts as I kept going through the knees on my trousers . Always on the go outside unsupervised having adventures. Don’t think todays kids have that experience.
