  3. The first Latin artist to ever come out as gay was Ricky Martin and he got a lot of hate in the Latino community, he still huge and is a legend. Most older generation of Latinos are homophobic, the younger generation are much more accepting. Bad Bunny has not said that he is bisexual but he has been very supportive with the LGBT community and paint his nails and wear women clothes sometimes.

  19. nah, i would say the latin community is a lil bit tighter than the black community, at least in a general way, between certain nationalities of latin countries it exists not hatred but a lil dislike but overall i would say we can support each other. Secondly idk if bad bunny is bisexual or not, from my understanding he has never stated his sexual orientation like saying he is bisexual, but that part is false, the majority of latin countries a huge percentage of people are homophobic, truth be told this percentage might be lower for the younger people, but nevertheless we latinos unfortunately we are years away of european and even american culture in being more open to different sexual orientations than being straight. Also the majority of people that hears music from bad bunny nowadays the majority are female, thats a fact you only need to see his concerts, etc. I want to say thats not a knock to him whatsoever, he was smart, he figured out his target audience, where he was going to get more streams and more success and he focus on that. Its so funny to me cuz i remember when he started, and he was using the same sexual lyrics he uses know but he was in the trap genre and the majority of females used to hate on him, calling him a bad influence, etc. And then he switched to reggaeton (more mainstream, club music.), same lyrics but the same females who used to hate him now stream his music, fill his concerts, etc. Genius move by him imo although i stopped listening to him since its not my cup of tea.
    What im trying to convey here is that what akademiks is saying is purely based on the surface which is not precisely the truth.

  27. I can't think of too many rappers in the last few years that was making "feel good music". We came from Trap music to straight up drill murder music. Not too many rappers are making music that just make you feel good at a party, club or in your car. You don't have to understand anything BB says to really enjoy his music. The production, cadence and voice alone is enough for so many people.
