2. Granted I have never been a big fan of Crue. I DO have respect for Mick though. I always thought his tone was great. And I always have thought he is the most down to earth person in the band. The rest of them I could do without. As far as 5 joining them, I personally feel that as it may bring them to a higher level, 5 outdoes all of these guys musically. None of them can hold a candle to 5. And as much as I am not a big fan of Crue, mainly because of the ego's and drama that are in this band, I just don't think 5 will last with them. I think he will get sick and tired of the drama with them. Look how they treated Corabi. And Corabi blows Neil away on vocals. This will be interesting to see how this all turns out.

3. Motley is a Staple Band, though Mick is the nicest guy in Motley he wasn't that good of a guitar player! I'm not a Johnny 5 fan but i do know that he can run circles around MOST professional guitarists. If he is doing live shows I think Motley will be alright. as far as making new music, that's not a wise move. Motley isn't a hit making band anymore, they must accept that!

5. Mick is irreplaceable. Without him they're not motley crue. How much money is enough????? I love the crue and have done so from the early 80s growing up. Guitar players are 10 a penny john 5 might be a nice guy but in my eyes he's not motley material

14. The Crue doesn't care about Mick. everybody's forgotten before the carnival of sins tour? management had to bring the band together and no one had checked up on Mick Mars back then to see how he was doing. It's only about money then and now

17. I have ankylosing spondylitis and will tell you from my personal perspective it is very painful!!! I respect Mick got his decision, it’s hard to hang it up and retire.

27. He’s an exceptional guitarist and will be great. But as long as Vince is “singing” no one should spend a dime on going to their concert.

31. I think Mick Mars is an amazing guitarist! I'm sorry to hear that he won't be able to tour anymore but I think it's best for his health. I'm privileged to say that I got to see him play live on The Stadium Tour and have pictures of him playing. I'm glad he's still a part of Crue but John 5 will be a perfect stand in on the tours.
