I haven't been to a hockey game since the 1970s, and that was back in Minnesota when the North Stars were still playing there. There were no computer back then, and there wasn't and "Edger" either. The L.A Kings seem to have a much more sophisticated setup than then when was a kid.

I get that Zamboni is an easier word for viewers. Zamboni is a brand name not the actual name of the machine. Ice resurfacer is the technical name. I guess potayto, potahto

From another video, I learned you can't order those passenger seats from the Zamboni company as an option. So, if it is a real Zamboni and it has a passenger seat, you know that was a local add-on.
