Open pollination. What a joke.
This dude is a freakin joke. Straight up joke.
Makes sense if youβre popping thousands.. for home growing im stickin to the paper towels
What works well for me is direct sow into 5 gallons then i transplant maybe 8 weeks later into 50-65 gallons. im indoor and grow 1 plant per 4×4 section. paper towel should be outlawed
That's the only way I have ever popped seeds, straight to soil nothing else. It's definitely a huge time saver if your popping alot.
hahaha
Straight in the dirt 100% I have almost 100% success popping beans this way and I have tried most other ways. Believe it or not clones works great straight in the dirt too no rooting gel or anything necessary
I think you should apply to be an actual Freemason and masonic brother instead of using the moniker "masonic because you pop mason jars" with a compass and square on the wall on your podcast. Legitimize ur name man!

Less is more when it comes to this plant π₯
The hose cracks me up lol. I used to be so gentle when i watered… now i basically till the top inch of soil and they love it lol
That's just the normal method of sowing seeds. Personally, I don't like to waste soil on the seeds that don't pop, and like to see how long they take and whether they germinate, before I put them in the soil, but I just give them sn overnight soak with a good compost tea (somewhat variable), then have them in shallow trays in the dark, spraying them daily, until they are either visibly germinating or failing to germinate, but ideally just barely sprouting, not curling and thinning or anything.
Other variables, pests, pathogens, etc, can be involved in the soil, so it's nice to have a germination % that doesn't reflect those factors and a practice that minimizes wasting space on dud seeds.
I don't always wait to see the sprouts, but I think a short soak before putting seeds in the soil is a good idea for any seeds large enough to handle, when damp. Hemp/Cannabis seeds are slightly on the small side for being easily handled, and you have to be gentle with the sprouts, but they're manageable, unlike the seeds for most other herbs, many of which are commonly finer than sand. π€·ββοΈ

Perhaps they just sow them directly in the soil like normal people
