Your VPD is not the same as my VPD 80 degrees at 62 humidity is a VPD of 1.0 based on my humidifier. Based on leaf surface temp.

Im retired also, i used to spend my mornings drinking coffe and watching the morning news, which is mostly depressing these days, now i spend my mornings in my grow room drinking my coffee messing with my plants. With all the hot air im filled with, they are getting a daily boost of Co2, a win win 😁. Appreciate y'all ✌️😎🔥🔥🔥
If im dealing with temperature too high in my tents, i lower my light and run them dimmer. If im dealing with low temperatures, i raise my light and turn it up on the dimmer. Its all about finding that balance for your situation ✌️😊
